Amarant'h	Posted - 2008.05.13 08:29:00 - [1] Since theres people doing much charity (or then its just a way to get some wealth) ive decided to make it this way.. I dare you to help me buy my freighter skillbook, and advanced spaceship command book. It may be me helping you out a bit cheaper in the future if you need freighting services, i will remember. Even you think im getting the freighter easy way, thats not the point, because i need to save all the money to the ship too.. so.. Theres all kind of things going on, renting bio, etc.. So i want to give you a chance to help somebody who really needs it. This is not a begging attempt, i just want to see how people act, is there anyone really wanting to help. I will thank everyone who helps me out, if i can. Thank you for your time.

I think the point is that your begging, you want a freighter and you need ISK for the skillbooks so you came to the forum.

And I'm not trying to ruin your attempt.. If people want to give you money for whatever reason I'm certainly not going to try to stop them, but when one person tries it everyone does it and soon we're going have hundreds of people asking for isk for their Carriers/Black Ops ships/Titans. (Not guaranteed though as I can't predict the future.. yet)

It's simple really, but evidently parents within the last 15 or so years have become quite lax with their children and let them walk all over them and before anyone screams bible thumper let me say that I consider myself an atheist, but I am a human being. 1. Treat others with the same respect you would wish to be treated. 2. If you don't have something nice to say, by all means, don't say anything at all. EvE is one of those places that by intent, most resembles real life in several regards. Firstly the attitude of most(not all, but most) is horrid. I have run into the vast majority of the most inhuman, uncaring, sorry, no account and hateful people I have ever had the unfortunate luck to run upon. I have met some good ones but I'll tell you they are quite few and definitely far between. The vast majority of EvE players live to grief one another and love nothing more than to ruin one another's day. Countless players losing close to all their money in single stroke of greed and selfishness from another player while others sit on billions waiving scraps at other starving players who would like nothing more than to just make enough money to get that ship they want so badly. So, as a token of a person that attempts to be a fair player, even though quite frankly, I eek out a living, I'll donate what I can 500k. Good luck with your freighter and hopefully it wont be lost to quickly. P.S. A "pirate" does not destroy ships, kill the pod pilot and leave loot and possible cash behind. That is not a pirate.
