God!!... if Electronic Farts bought out Eve all our ships would turn into bloody cartoons and then when people leave in droves they would shut down the servers heh.
Having CCP as the controlling influence is the best bet I would say so unless they get short of cash I can't see them selling out to anyone. *crosses fingers*
To be honest CCP are doing a bloody good job now and our Community Manager, kieron, is doing a lot better than what Pann did. Eve is going from strength to strength so it's not in any trouble whatsoever so that's another reason that CCP wouldnt sell out.
All I can say is that for a company that is running their first MMOG they started a little rough but are learning and implementing changes to smooth out everything.
Keep up the good work CCP... and for gods sake pod anyone who mentions selling the game to anyone else

Everyone can be bought, but i hope to the love of god that aswell as Sony aswell as NCI never lay a hand on this game. It would mean the end of this game.

Adriana, thats were you are all wrong... i do not feel like paying for a single player with npcs with just the MMO feel of it... sorry PvP is the thing that makes it worth while playing online, you can see this in the FPS world were there are so many players its not even funny
end bosses? what kind of an idea would that be for eve? thats pretty lame! this game is about players and how they play eve with other players, and having the ability to do what you want with your skills and time and have corporations and alliances some what make up the RPG area is the best thing out there... not some scripted NPC's that every joe gets to do over and over and over and over again.
btw players dont gate camp because they are bored its because they choose to go that path and they are probably having a few good laughs while they are doing it. And those that are on the receiving end have a great deal of suspense and adrenaline going when something like that happens... you dont get that a lot from the AI of some NPC's and esp when you have such little risk
