Of all those three, I'd take 'stang, but only if it was a Roush Stage 3

Meh...all this "other cars are better" clap trap. Has nothing to do with it. While they may indeed be better there is just something about a properly done American Muscle car that make you all happy in the pants. A rice rocket can never compare to having a heavy, huge engine thrumming under the hood as opposed to the rice rocket's whiny squeal. Who cares if the muscle car gets 9 miles to the gallon and cannot corner to save its life? That's not the point!
It's like the difference between a Harley and a crotch-rocket...no comparison when it comes to the impression they leave. A crotch-rocket you can hear coming a mile away...a Harley you feel coming from a mile away.
Or liken it to a Desert Eagle vs. a 9mm. In most respects the 9mm is a better gun all things considered but the heavy metal of a Desert Eagle, well, just no comparison.
My vote is for the Challenger. Most original looking of the lot.

Modern frames and suspension mean Muscle cars handle rather well. Not exactly Mini Coopers but still fairly decent. I seem to recall the Challenger being capable of .92 Gs.

The Challenger is an excellent car, just don't press it too hard or you'll have a rod thrown. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post. |

If money and fuel were no concern, I think I'd go for the Dodge.
Because, it looks like it could be fitted with one of those crazy-huge superchargers, without completely blocking your vision.
The other cars don't look like they could do that

Not on the list but worth mentioning is the Pontiac G8 (best car from Pontiac since the original GTO)

I would go with number 2 cos its being driven on snow thus i i already have proof it can handle well. And it looks cool. they all look like top of their range muscle cars so without knowing ,uch about each of them i would go with 2 cos its black and looks like a car.

Hmm. They all look a bit chubby.
If you look at the old versions, they were big and had sharp lines, the new ones look a bit bloaty.
That said, they're torque filled american muscle, and although they'll never have the soul of the old ones, I wouldn't say no. Although some cars handle better, theres nothing the pull and growl of a V8.
As I'm in the UK, fuel is obviously an issue at.. like $8 a gallon or something, but thats not an issue. Having said that, i'll probably be buying a '96 Mustang GT 4.6 V8 this weekend.
Out of these, I'd choose the Camaro first. The Mustang is nice, but is a bit TOO pimped (epecially if its the lulzworthy V6 version), the Camaro has simple lines.
As for the Challenger, It looks like they've taken the old body and added 500 pounds of flab to it. Still, it looks nicer than the Mustang, as once again, its not overhyped on its looks.

Anything but the mustang for me, I hate it its just too common. Sides its not even a real 500 BHP, when tested you only really get 450-460 from the 500gt.

Love the challenger pictures.
Why is it though, when I see THIS picture, I keep hearing the opening bars of "Dixie" as played on a car horn?

The one thing I have with the camero is that the back end just doesn't look quite right. The front is pretty sweet though.

I do love DBS so very very much
Out of those three, probably the Mustang. Although the Dodge does have a certain nostalgic charm about it. ------

I see we have a few more winners of the reading comp skills test.
The thread is simple. There are 3 car choices, a Mustang, a camero, and a challenger. There is no 'other' option. If you want a 'other' option make your own damn car thread. I only want opinions on the camero, mustang, and challenger.
