What would you drive if you had the following choices?
1. Ford Mustang
2. Chevy Camaro
3. Dodge Charger
These are your choices. Keep it simple, make your choice and a small explamation why.

Edited by: Fink Angel on 14/05/2008 20:01:45 The Dodge Charger as it looks proper old school and I could pretend to be a modern day Duke of Hazzard!
However as I'm from England, the chance of being able to afford the petrol to drive it off the garage forecourt kinda negates any chance of that.
Edit: The Mustang just looks to me like it's one of the thousand cookie cutter cars out of Tokyo Drift style movies and games.

Edited by: pwnedgato on 14/05/2008 20:23:19 I used to like cars with small high revving engines. Then I realized there are no turns where I live, so I fell in love with muscle again. Choosing from those 3 I'd have to go with the new Camaro. Also where is the new Challenger in that list? Edit: it is on the list you just called it the Charger for some reason. I change what I say to the Challenger.

Thanks for pointing that out. Yes I meant Challenger. Charger is just a 4 door sedan with a Hemi. So yes, choices are Challenger, Camaro, Mustang.

Without a doubt the Challenger.
I've never been a fan of mustangs, the camaro would be nice.
But I just love the Challengers/Barracudas of old. I want a Cuda. It think they are a good blend of old style made modern. Just wish the GTO would have been the same. Way to go Pontiac/GM. New sig coming. |

Between those three I'd take the Camaro. It has nice agressive lines without being bulky like the Mustang ( I know it isn't bulky, it just looks less sleak compared to the Camaro ) And I find the Challenger looking a bit plain compared to the Camaro. I also like the head/tail lights of the Camaro.
My 2 cents :)

I've actually have been a bit of a fan with the recent mustangs but that challenger has really caught my eye. I've always like that front grill look on cars and I've got more preference for Dodge than Ford anyways.

If I wanted to talk about multiple vehicles I would have titled it "What do you want to drive?" and not American Muscle.
This isn't a generic car thread, this is specific and it's not that hard to grasp. don't like it, don't post in it. Want to share your opinion on a different vehicle, make a different thread.

You can base it off of any features like power, handling, looks or whatever.
I agree though that the mustang looks neat. If I had to go specific I would probably go GT and get as many horses as I could in the engine.
And yes if I had included the older models I would so choose one of them over the 3 listed but I'm curious on views on the 3 current models.

This. Its not that hard to understand.
Based purely on looks I'd say the Camaro, but I've always been partial to Dodge vehicles which includes their trucks. I don't much like the old fashioned look, however. --- My cat Putter approves of this post. Be a Ninja! You know you want too: http://www.animecubed.com/billy/?Kravick |

Of those three, I would pick the Dodge Challenger for looks alone. The styling is appropriately retro, especially in details like the slight lip across the headlights. Of all the three it has a design that is closest to the vintage original. Not sure about orange though...would want it in black with nice chrome highlights. Not going to comment on the engine because I know nothing about that part of cars...I just know what I like the look of.
