Cora where never a Top pvp corp.

List of Tri corp that where all better than Cora is as follows

VSQ, D00M, RA, O****, Wreck, Exan , Dorm and Omen

All of the corps above were constanly above Cora on the KB and had more numbers on alliance op's.Cora Fc's where always to affraid to FC alliance gangs ( due to being attacked and insulted by angel if they made a mistake), so to say they where EVER a top 3 corp is a joke.

Cora never topped the kb, cora never ran loads of pos's, cora never had the most players in alliance gangs, cora never had alot of fcs, but cora had fun and thats what counts <3

I'd liek to think we provided some fun and enjoyment for others in tri too and hope they feel the same way <3

As for a comparison with my corp, well, if you want a PVP corp with FCs coming out of our ears, gangs going 24/7 and small scale PVP of every type, you have us. If you want 1/2 members who join alliance gangs while others NPC, many super caps with incompetent fittings and a CEO who pretends to be an FC but at best can FC a mining OP still trying to masquerade his corp as great at PVP, well there's DORM.

I think the time has come to explain the situation to those that do not know it.
DORM joined Tri from the ashes of a dieing alliance that bit off more then they could chew (Fallen Souls) We merged with Dark-Rising and found ourselves fighting old friends. After the fall of DR we decided to rebirth our home corp DORM and start fresh. We took the assets we had and made a deal with Tri to join. Our deal was this; 1. We will provide towers and pvpers to take dekein and hold that space to the best of our abilities. 2. We will be a pvp force in the alliance worthy of membership. We held our end of the bargain. I feel the need to explain the true actions of leadership over the past few weeks that I personally have been flamed for but not without some background. First of all, dorm never held the most money moons in dek or surrounding area's. Doom held twice as many money moons as Dorm. We had a few but the majority of our poses were space holder towers. We also bankrolled and built 2 stations that the alliance was going to pay us for but never did. Our corp was in every alliance gang with the highest attendence. We've lead the kb in alliance for the past month. Doom's Titan came out of the oven the same day that I came home from work and found out that Darknesss decided and posted on COAD that Tri is disbanding. This tbh is not that much of a surprise to me because of the time I hired Tri to help defend scalding pass from the goons and RA over a year ago. They ran, and they run now. Storm Armada comes to mind here

In all honesty it'd be a bit of a push to call Angel & Dark friends, they both respected each others abilities and would support each other if it hit the fan on COAD, but lets be honest from when Angel and Dark first met each other they disagreed on a pretty regular basis.

With Angel and Darknesss you've got two very strong personalities, either of which despises having to back down and will only do so when catastrophe beckons. (And sometimes not even then)

Dark did stand by GD in the episode which ended in 3 corps leaving Tri, but that arguement was only the latest of many many arguements with Darkness and Angel at it's centre, and it was the straw that broke the camels back as far as Darkness was concerned I think.

The horrible situation within Tri was that you had a couple of corps who saw anything remotely regarding pos work as being carebear and therefore not eligible to be in Tri, yet these people didnt seem to grasp that pos work is a necessity in Eve if you're gonna get anywhere, and of course with Dorm having a superior number of pos's down compared to other corps in Tri they became their main target.

Illuminati were one of those corps, to put that into context they had one pos, one single pos and that was a moon miner and they loathed having it up but had no choice as it provided good income for them. I believe they even named the pos something like "f**k pos's"

And it's also true that Doom had more high end moons than Dorm did, I believe we had 3 more than they. The main reason Doom got no hassle for it was that there were basically two people in Doom running the entire pos network which is a recipe for disaster in itself. Dorm were better organized by far on that regard and had more people running their network and because of that they got griefed by it from certain areas within Tri.

These other people made no secret they wanted Dorm out, yet how do you kick a corp from an alliance that has brought it a big level of security on the pos front? Yes Dorm had their own station in Deklein which they paid for themselves, and they also loaned Tri the cash necessary to get another outpost built.

I think in the end Tri failed because the people within it could not learn to see that other people within it who might have expertise in a different area also had something to give the alliance. Basically it had some very vocal hardliners who are probably better suited to an alliance that never holds territory

LE: Someone posted before me, but GD isn't the reason Tri died. Tri died long before that, when pvp prowess was measured by KM farming, coupled with corporations not working together, not helping each other unless the alliance had a goal. What killed Tri were the ego's. This Dorm thing spearheaded by GD just gave it the killing blow.
