Edited by: Benco97 on 15/05/2008 16:36:25 Look at it! It's clear they did it to themselves, they stand to gain either a war (Which promotes industrial advance) or their homeworld as a peace offering, either way they win! The caldari would have no qualms about doing this to their own people, they see anyone below their own standing as nothing more than numbers, there is no feeling there at all. The Gallente are a peace loving and non-confrontational people who ONLY STAND TO LOSE from this! It would have only taken a few saboteurs onboard the Nyx to disable the AI, security, Comms and Navigation systems, locking the vessel on a collision course for the station.
Clearly they are hoping to incite a war which will cripple the Gallente federation and leave them and their conspirators to salvage the pieces!
I pledge that I will do my utmost for the federation to get to the bottom of this ridiculous setup.

"Clearly photoshopped footage. The Nyx would have just bouced right off and the station would not have burned up like that. It was a planned detonation"

Sure, why not.
Ummm... based on the testimony of four out of the hundreds of witnesses, we conclude that the Nyx actually flew over the station, and was really a missile in disguise, and the fires were a result of thermite smuggled aboard over the course of months, because fire has never melted starbase structure in history. And just before the moment of impact that didn't happen, someone was heard saying, "pull it".

You blind bastards...its clear what was done here. How can you fools stand by this! HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE WHAT HAPPENED HERE!
I am Gallente by blood only... Should loyalists make their way into providence they will find me staring back at them with weapons lock. I can not believe this... Noir may you burn in the seventh ring...and those who trusted him with such a ship may you burn in the sixth. It is clear what the Gallente Federation wants. This capsuleer will not stand with them. NOW OR EVER!

Honestly, what did you expect of a fascist state? This looks like a textbook example of a false flag operation. I'm sure the State will fabricate enough false evidence to support their story, so we'll never know what really happened. The federation stands for peace and democracy, despite all the corruption going on within our government. But if the State forces a war upon us, it will be up to us pilots to do our duty and stand up to their wrong ideals. I just hope it can be avoided...

Agreed. It must have been faked. Look at the language! It sounds NOTHING like the Alexander Noir we all know and love. One only has to go back to THIS news report, when he was awarded the Adonis, to see what a dedicated man of peace Admiral Noir was. He would never dishonor himself in such a manner. He was committed to peace for both the Caldari and the Gallente people.
We Jin Mei, members of the Gallente Federation, mourn the loss today of not only thousands of innocent Caldari lives, but the loss of Alexander Noir, his crew, and the foul besmirchment of the great "Statesman of Antiquity".
We further hope for Admiral Noir's speedy recloning that he may rise to heal this great wound, and reclaim the honor stolen from him by lesser men.

your head, mouth open in eternal frozen screaming, will look very nice mounted on the front of my ship as a warning to all those who dare to think they can mess with my beloved State. beware Gallante, if i see you in space, you and your ship will not stand up to the might of the Caldari State! -----

Gallentes dont have any reason to start a war. Economy is going great, workers are happy, etc.
Meanwhile crapdari got a list of reasons to go to war. They threat there workers like slaves, so got to get an enemy they will blame for it. Their economy sucks, etc.

It was an Ishukone station. So maybe it was actually Kaalakiota getting a little payback...
Or maybe the Gallente finally had a frenchified freakout due to too much lactose, polyphenols, antioxidants, and flavonoids (cheese and wine) in their diet.
Or maybe it was the Jove that put em up to it. Ya know, the Jove give Caldari pod technology and we get all, "Let's have a war!" instead of, "we shall take this gift and do good"...
Or maybe the insurance was about to run out on that Nyx and this Alexander Noir guy owed Eronpaa Aaromon some money and he was trying to kill two birds in one shot.
But... who cares!?
THE ISK MUST FLOW! and war certainly helps that along.

If this is a Caldari plot it would be consistant with Tibus Heth's recent change of stance.
He may have switched to supporting the conference so that he could set up the disaster.
I wonder if it was really Admiral Noir pilotting that ship?

Things like that can be moved, especially if you KNOW it's going to happen. No way in hell did he just say "lolol, eat this suckaz!" and pilot his ship into the station, it doesn't make sense, IF he was even ON the Nyx at the time then I propse he CERTAINLY wasn't in control of it.

so what's your idea of trying to blame the Amarr over this incident that your people incited without reason? are you trying to turn us against them in the hopes that you can use them as cannonfodder to fight your war for you? we already know the Amarr had nothing to do with action, and we will hold the real people responsible for it.

The Gallente are french. Everyone knows the french are underhanded, backstabbing, sneaky people. It surprises me that one of them held a grudge so well in check for so long. Admiral Noir must have had Caldari in his heritage. While I decry the attack and the resulting deaths, his sacrafice in such a manner is worthy of a Caldari, not a pansy Gallente.
