NB, Farkham posted in this thread stating his fleet was 200ish I believe. There's little a sledgehammer can't fix. If you can't fix it, you need a bigger sledgehammer. If it's unfixable, blame CCP. :p

They are. What about those who put damage on a target, but in the end the target never dies? Those never show up on the KB. That doesn't mean they never participated. They just left to repair maybe, or fled when the battle was lost before getting on a killmail. For instance: I've been in a gang that went wrong. We had decent numbers, but failing to kill a good amount of hostiles, the gang showed up on the KB as being 1/3 of what it actually was, infact. If a gang kills 0 hostiles, only the losees would show as participants. Ergo: Never rely on killboards for a clear picture of the battle. There's little a sledgehammer can't fix. If you can't fix it, you need a bigger sledgehammer. If it's unfixable, blame CCP. :p

True, some are gate camping from allowing hostile reinforcements, or others are alt pvpers or scouts sitting around.

Please keep in mind this count is per the killboards, and I personally have never spotted a discrepancy in fleet battle counts, except for needing to go through the lists and see if any IRC / ED are on hostile side from shooting/smartbombing our own on accident, and vice versa for hostiles. well noone from you side is going to show up since you failed to kill anything pretty much.

Fragito Dragon's Rage Intrepid Crossing	Posted - 2008.05.17 05:42:00 - [221] Well, I will have to end my postings on this thread in a respectful way and say that, personally, the blobing doesn't bother me, since it is "potentially" more kills, just hasn't worked out in my favor in the past week, but dying while fighting back makes me just as happy as killing a few and returning home alive. I remember returning to D-IZ with 9% hull left one time, think I warped to the fleet and got sucked by a bubble. All differences aside, we have had some good fights and still look forward to more in the future, no matter who pops.
