It may be entity, but the richest person I know owns 26 T2 BPOs (ships) and lives quietly over it. I am sure that there are quite a few phenomenally rich people out there nobody has ever heard of.

I agree the issue here is "Old Money" i.e. cash gained from years of t2 BPO aquisition and production. However it is almost guaranteed that the large percentages of isk in the eve economy are in the hands of a few. Cos i dont care how friendly you are to your corp mates .. your not gonna lend him ur 50 bill isk t2 BPO so he can crank out a couple runs...... So I would imagine its much like the real world... al the cash is horded between a few greedy bastards who sit on it all and dont give any to anyone else!
