I will admit that I had hoped maybe, just maybe, we could have peace. I was a fool. After all, all the years of rhetoric, of lies, of covert attacks, of smiles and knives in the night, how can any rational person believe that there ever would be peace? And since peace is no longer an option, war it will be. Noir is a hero, and my only regret is that the Nyx he piloted took so much time to hit that station. If it had been faster, the death toll would have been much higher. The State earned this revenge by its own efforts, and I won't rest until the State is incapable of threatening the Federation.
