Best thing is leave jita. it's no news that it's EvE's main trade hub and I hope someone flies a titan into jita in FW and DDDs 4-4 but back to the point.
It is well know that it is a trade hub and thuis, many ppl come there with the same intention and lots of competitionis there.

Silvana Kor'ah I agree with you about the market wars and as I stated above it bores me aswell.
But it's up to you to live with it or not. Personaly I hate to spend my time on that, I set my orders and after I go do something else because I know that it's pointless to fight against no-life peeps that are reviewing their orders all the time like the hardcore traders robots they are.
Once considered it's not so important, I throw a look sometimes, once, maybe twice a day to a few orders, and change some prices. It nevers takes more than 10 minutes per day (I have 53 orders out of 301 max atm) so I don't get nervous.
Sometimes I think about the no-life zombie traders of Jita, and then I fell sorry for them

Hmm, not sure what I'm doing wrong, I'm making about 1 to 2 billion ISK per week manufacturing rigs in Jita.
1. Buy salvage in Jita 4-4 using buy orders
2. Manufacture rigs two jumps out
3. Sell rigs in Jita 4-4 using sell orders
I currently have 591 rigs for sale, of 17 different types, which will all be sold in 3 or 4 days for 1.6b pure profit.
Hint: Don't bother with CCC, Tri-marks, or anything with ATB in them. Those are what morons sell.
Changing the delay won't make any difference; I only have 1 sell order per rig but I use up to 5 buy orders per salvage item. So yes I can update my buy prices every minute if necessary.

Does anyone else purposely avoid buying from .01 (or similarly minimal undercuttings) undercutters?
I'd gladly pay up to a couple percent more for something than pay someone who undercuts by .01 just to be on the top of my market window.

You're only buying from a slower undercutter, not a non-undercutter.
By the way, I really wish there was a way to tell where a post ends and a signature starts. |

Obviously, there is no way to set prices right except undercutting every 5 minutes. Obviously, setting the right prices would be more relevant IF orders could not be changed so often. Speaking of obvious things, it is quite obvious that Lara seems to be one of the few smart ladys here who recognized the obvious:
What do all those no-life zombie-traders of Jita do, while they wait for their next undercut? Obviously spamming my thread

Hey, anybody ever imagined what market would be, if orders could not be changed at all? You would make things in eve you never made before! Fe. setup a order less than 90 days
This would involve market observation, maths and thinking before placing an order. What a nightmare! Hence i have to admit the current system is perfect. Would make me a real bad conscience to see all those no RL zombies quit as they would go bankrupt without the option to simply undercut 12 times an hour
I guess the audience here wouldn't be too fancy if i would propose an increased change-order fee, so i'll skip that too. (Yeah, 100 ISK is too much already)
