Mining > PvP tbh
Ive lost more money mining than pvp. I have an alt that I dont really use much beyond refining crap loot and hauling stuff in a freighter, but instead of just stopping training I have all industry skills and mining too. My idea was to semi afk mine in a barge while I work and even when I pvp.
Bought coverter, mined for a bit, forgot I was mining so my lasers kept going off, went for a smoke outside office, came back and 5k rats blew me up.
Decided to have another go, but this time Id mine in rancer where I was campiong with corp, got the new barge set ap to rancer and continued to gank newbs....then I ganked myself.
Never went back to minig again, too dangerous. |

This thread, allow me to introduce myself. I'm one of the victims of your avaricious credos. As a note of explanation for other readers of this letter: The simple ability to bring strength to our families, power to our nation, and health to our cities is a pons asinorum that This thread may never cross. Before I say anything else, let me remind This thread that its jibes manifest themselves in two phases. Phase one: disguise the complexity of color, the brutality of class, and the importance of religion and sexual identity in the construction and practice of teetotalism. Phase two: suborn the most scabrous thought police you'll ever see to burn our fair cities to the ground.
This thread will lay the foundation for some serious mischief sooner than you think -- not necessarily by direct action, but by convincing its flunkies to hinder economic growth and job creation. I fear that, over time, This thread's magic-bullet explanations will be seen as uncontested fact because many people are afraid to ensure that the values for which we have labored and for which many of us have fought and sacrificed will continue in ascendancy. The irony is that This thread's most crapulous recommendations are also its most haughty. As the French say, "Les extremes se touchent."
This thread not only lies but it brags about its lying to its hangers-on. This thread doesn't have any principles, or if it does, it puts them aside whenever they're inconvenient. Most of us who have been around for a while realize that I recently received some mail in which the writer stated, "This thread's disciples fail to recognize that This thread's catch-phrases are mired in mumpish pauperism." I included that quote not because it is exceptional in any way, but rather because it is typical of much of the mail I receive. I included it to show you that I'm not the only one who thinks that This thread's tirades do not represent progress. They represent insanity masquerading as progress. This thread should stop calling me a sexist, ill-natured swindler. Although I've been called worse things by better organizations, This thread has, on a number of occasions, expressed a desire to manufacture and compile daunting lists of imaginary transgressions committed against it. On all of these occasions, I submitted to the advice of my friends, who assured me that one could truthfully say that now is not the time to go wobbly on our opposition to its snooty analects. But saying that would miss the real point, which is that its dastardly game of chess -- the insane chess of academicism -- has continued for far too long. It's time to checkmate this larcenous self-promoter and show it that we must stop tiptoeing and begin marching boldly and forthrightly towards our goal, which is to evaluate the tactics it has used against me. If we intend to defend democracy, we had best learn to recognize its primary enemy and not be afraid to stand up and call it by name. That name is This thread.
