The funniest thing about this thread are all the people trying hard to chest beat and rub our faces in it and completely ignoring that we're laughing along with them. Hell even deadtear was only ****ed that it was smash that killed his titan, not that the titan was lost.

Eitherway for me, i'm just out for the big fights. So far we have managed to lose/kill more caps in one engagement then anyone else in EVE. And after waiting for ages we finally broke our supercap virginity, with 2 motherships (2 weeks back), followed by of all things, a Goonswarm Titan. Good times. I think we have averaged close to 100bn isk worth of cap ship losses every week for the past month.
EVE isn't like othergames where you can just log into an epic fight and have a great time everyday. You have to slowly build it up, and work for the big fights. You know what, as far as looking for fights, and starting fights, we are getting pretty good at it. Actually, it would have meant the 100+ support that all started jumping through that gate just as the titans DDed and the 100 capitals that were trying to cyno in to not only rep the titan but smash your cap forces...would have gotten in.
I don't think this was the true account for the situation. Since I was there since the beginning, I suppose I should give a clear description of the situation.
When the 3 titans logged on to the grid, the Erebus and the Ragnarok set off their DD almost simultaneously, while I was away about 500km looting wrecks.. Once I saw that I warped to a wreck near them and I dropped out of warp at about 50-60km away from the titans. Then at that time the Leviathan set off its DD and my typhoon tanked it with 30% of armor left. 3 of them were quickly locked and I started shooting the first locked one(SokolD) while mwd towards the nearest one(deadtear). At this moment some of our allies had arrived and started bumping them. However most of them are nano ships that can't last long against smartbombs so they either left or died. Once I got close to the Erebus, our bigger ships allies had warped in and we bumped it together. It was about at this moment that things started to become laggy. I couldn't even switch my weapon to shoot the Erebus and missed the chance to be on the km. There were at least about 3 full minutes that everything was smooth and responded quickly. If it was really a coordinated op like you said, I believe this time was more than enough to cyno in your fleets. So you failed.

there's no reverse psychology involved. we genuinely think it's hilarious. and while we probably did want that titan anyway, we were waiting in anticipation for the day deadtear would lose it.
the only thing goons are upset about was that it wasn't to gate rats or something.

The cyno was deployed, the caps and support were simply traffic controlled. (It's been mentioned half a dozen times already in various areas). There were some mistakes made, but failure to deploy a cyno and attempt to bring in support wasn't one of them.
Not going to complain about lag here for I think after all these years we get that the game lags (remember when 50 vs 50 used to lag? Or when that'd be called a major fleet battle?). Is losing a titan bothersome? Yes, but that isn't going to make me (or the rest of us) ragequit EVE (sorry, no matter how much you want us to, we're not failure cascading).
There was no real gloating in regards to the carrier kill, just a bunch of us marveling at the arrogance of a capital pilot that is getting repeatedly bumped by a couple of vagabonds and then subsequently losing his ship to a bunch of HACs, recons and interceptors. The loss of that carrier was completely avoidable if the pilot wasn't thinking with his balls (and going "lol t1 goonies are bumping me" in alliance chat as I am sure he was).
As for the fake killmails, do you really care that much? Really? Does it make you all warm and fuzzy inside, filling you with a sense of smug righteousness that someone is feeding words into a form processor? If you're really all about blowing stuff up and enjoying the game, then ignore the stupid killboard and play the game.

Sorry, seems you got it all wrong. You just don't get SMASH+allies do you? I seen all the Goons licking their lips over the eminent arse kicking they were gonna give SMASH+allies. And to fail so horribly, well I'm not the sadistic type who needs to inflict pain on others to enjoy myself. But that really was pretty funny. I don't need you to emo rage, or want you too. After all if you did, then where else would we score easy titan kills from? The only alliance I can think of ingame worse then you guys is SMASH (thou this is definately debatable now), but they are blue(do they even have one? I know they got a mothership), so we can't really shoot theirs :D But hey good try.
What exactly is there to get about goons? A bunch of grown men hiding behind the r-tard card to justify to themselves their failures at some internet spaceship game that they all obviously take too seriously.
