And if you pull a dumbass and get caught, and subsequently lose your expensive ship, you deserve to have that spread all over the forums. However, ships are meant to be used in combat. Do people build motherships and titans, just to say they did so? I remember warping to the gate that the Erebus was tackled at with alarms blaring in my head. It smelled like a trap. Our scouts had reported a major fleet just on the other side of that gate and several other fleets within jump range. And maybe it was designed as a trap. If there is any better bait for a trap than a Titan, it would be three Titans. You can claim that it was a trap and that lag prevented its execution. But it didn't turn out that way. Instead, I got to see a titan blown up, in game. Ironically enough, it was also the first time I had ever seen a titan in person, let alone three of them. As a side note, here is my idea for an inscription on the newly erected monument to the death of a goon titan in R-6. "We came, we saw, we blew the s**t out of a titan! -SMACKFIX" If you hold a unix shell up to your ear, can you still hear the c: ?
