I have beeen wandering Battleclinic for a while now, and can'tt find anything, so thought I wuld ask here.
Excluding Super Caps, and Caps...What is the most expensive recorded loss ever? There must be some good KM's out there somewhere of people losing T2 BPOs etc..anyone know of any?
Come on, we all need a Laugh :)
Oh, and come on, we need Proof...

Big losses I remember reading about in C&P :
Estamel tanked scorp jumping solo in EC-P8R
Shuttle kill, IIRC that was like a week after they were seeded 
I also remember a pirate posting about a blockade runner he popped which was filled with gist/domi modules and mach bpcs etc... (I think it all blew up because the items were in a can ?)

We got a thrasher with domi mods and a mach bpc but thats not even close to the most expensive losses. Totaled just over or under a bil all said and done.

Not to long ago a corp mate caught a Retriever off gate in a low sec system, scooping T1 drones. Popped him, and he drops about 1.5Bil in caps books, with another 1 to 1.5b that popped.
Close to 3 bil in books, in a Retriever, and hes off gate scooping T1 drones. Never underestimate the stupidity of people.

It might have obly been worth 1bill but its also a unique ship...more unique then the impoc in that theres only one(was only). Also a mere 1bill back then is is like saying a million dollars in the twenties was only a little amount.

nice, i saw all the killboards, but it was funny, lol the player that you killed, lol #1: his picture is a nuclear bomb flipping you the bird, lol
second one was if you check his "chance of survival" when it shows your chance of survival if you got attacked by them, lol 10%; that would suck to run into them
i also have some questions though: i know about hte officer fittings on the ships, but i was wondering, i think on the third link, it has some modules which are labeled "xxxxx's modified power diagnostic system" and xxxxx's modified gyrostabilizer" or whatever, what are those, like how do you get them? or are they really modified by players somehow? kinda a noob here, so cut me some credit, lol

Inflation is rarely taken in to account when calculating the "biggest" whatever. Look for highest grossing films of all time for example.

Thats officer gear, there's ~12-15 officers and they are the rarest npc spawns in game. Effectively they are "bosses" in other terms and they drop what is arguably the best gear in game--look them on contracts for prices.

Unfortunately I don't have the link, but when we attacked BWF, we had a gang outside the station and a Razor Iteron 5 undocked (wtf?) full of offcier, deadspace and faction mods. It got popped, but then they brought out about 10 carriers so we had to run 
And I mean full - like... about 20,000 m3 of the stuff.
