Since it looks like DP Mephisto is busy, so he is not updating his map, i made my own. 
It's a "beta" version - not sure about some areas, so feel free to post info about mistakes i made in the map.

A few grammar mistakes (Lonetrak instead of Lonetrek and a couple more ) but a nice one. And quite accurate

I like that so many people are doing maps, but could one of you make one that fits on my desktop? All of them seem to be square these days.

It's kinda impossible to do the map so it would fit your desktop, because the EVE universe is higher then wider

Very NICE!
Buy a High-Caffine drink on me for all the late hours you must have put in on that map. It's beautiful!
I really didn't think Norad had that much claimed space still, well done Blacky.
N.A.S.T. Pilots hold Tribute and Pureblind as a protectorate, and while it's free 0.0, carry credibility. There is quite a bit of fighting there these days for us, and spies sell for a dime'a'dozen.
We don't want to pod noobs, but alts .... they taste kinda like Veal from what I hear.

hm, ok guys...i made a wallpaper, but since i'm lazy, i just used an official EVE wallpaper as background. Made only 1600x1200 version and it has 2.5MB.

The mods should make a thread with links to all the different maps out there and sticky that. I have to say this is my favorite so far.
Do something about the ***ness of some of the colors chosen and it can only get better.
Now how do I fit it all in as a desktop feature? 
About the higher than wider comment, that didn't stop people mapping the earth from making Africa a helluva lot smaller than it is, compress and widen.

a small few clearifications:
-Delve and Periodbasis are both held by FA & CFS forces in a united defence efford. While FA is in control of the stations soley CFS claims the space around them to be under the "free space bill".
-C4 forces pulled out of Stain space to help CA and all stations were liberated by FA and Stain forces in a joint efford.
additionally it might be wise to check the other map for political agreements in the north, ie FA-norad just as a single example since those are missing atm aswell.

And about the north - you might notice those small latters in right-bottom corner - i'm member of CHON and TheMM corps, both members of NORAD 
NORAD doesn't have a NAP with "the new" FA yet.

There is no official NAP between FA & NORAD, it's just the strongest friendship and unofficial alliance in the game.
NORAD do have an official agreement with Fade Union, borne out of the ceasefire agreement at theend of the RSA war.

Nice job with the map.
Now im not sure how accurate i am with this as i've not been as active lately, but last time i checked the NAP between XIF ans SA was broken, and C4 also controled Esoteria.

I agree and I thik you should add o5y as a warzone as well. SA southern fleet (the small one) vs C4.
