Since it looks like DP Mephisto is busy, so he is not updating his map, i made my own. 
It's a "beta" version - not sure about some areas, so feel free to post info about mistakes i made in the map.

It's kinda impossible to do the map so it would fit your desktop, because the EVE universe is higher then wider

I really didn't think Norad had that much claimed space still, well done Blacky.
N.A.S.T. Pilots hold Tribute and Pureblind as a protectorate, and while it's free 0.0, carry credibility. There is quite a bit of fighting there these days for us, and spies sell for a dime'a'dozen.
We don't want to pod noobs, but alts .... they taste kinda like Veal from what I hear.

The mods should make a thread with links to all the different maps out there and sticky that. I have to say this is my favorite so far.
Do something about the ***ness of some of the colors chosen and it can only get better.
Now how do I fit it all in as a desktop feature? 
About the higher than wider comment, that didn't stop people mapping the earth from making Africa a helluva lot smaller than it is, compress and widen.

a small few clearifications:
-Delve and Periodbasis are both held by FA & CFS forces in a united defence efford. While FA is in control of the stations soley CFS claims the space around them to be under the "free space bill".
-C4 forces pulled out of Stain space to help CA and all stations were liberated by FA and Stain forces in a joint efford.
additionally it might be wise to check the other map for political agreements in the north, ie FA-norad just as a single example since those are missing atm aswell.

There is no official NAP between FA & NORAD, it's just the strongest friendship and unofficial alliance in the game.
NORAD do have an official agreement with Fade Union, borne out of the ceasefire agreement at theend of the RSA war.

Nice job with the map.
Now im not sure how accurate i am with this as i've not been as active lately, but last time i checked the NAP between XIF ans SA was broken, and C4 also controled Esoteria.

Does this mean NAST will not allow any Alliance to take these regions?
Will NAST patrol this space for pirate factions?
Will NAST offer a liscense to access this area?

i believe that this space will stay "Free",meaning that NAST will not let the territory's be claimed by an alliance. this is because 0.0 is not only for alliances. it is for the citizens Of Eve To use. Yes the forces of NAST are working to protect and i make safe these area's for public use. i believe this to be the official stance of NAST. i must stress the point, that i am only commenting and NOT making an official statement. While i am a member of NAST i am not speaking for the orginization in anyway, just trying to clarify. dose this help?

Yes, C4 combat has died off in the south, but remains fierce in the northen areas. I'm still not holding my breath, they have somthing planned.

thats because most CA arent anywhere to be seen in the Curse area.
the map should be updated to show that the main Curse heartland, from U-QVD to HLW area, is under the control of ATUK and the coalition of the willing.
The outer fringes are still contested, but will be pacified slowly, as CA corps start to realise the old days are over.

In any case, A2-V27 must be added to the map as a warzone. It is in heavy conflict by members of CFS and CA constantly, and anyone venturing into this region of space must be warned that while CFS space is open to all, caution must be had when traversing this system.

Station in V2-VC2 in Catch is under XIF control since a few weeks. Maybe u should show it on your map
U should also put a threat symbol in Solitude, I think Catch22 Alliance is working there (pirate alliance).
I think the threat in Paragon Soul can be removed atm

for the most part he is correct about PS. Almost all major C4 activity has decreased in stain space (we're still vigilant though.) Although, i must give credit to the awesome perfomances of the CA peasent fleet for making DSS fun again!

Arcadia alliance is no more, after several of the corps left most of them seem to have joined norad. And norad does not claim syndicate...blacklight has stated this on another thread.
JQL alliance claims parts of solitude and the right hand side of syndicate.

JQA claims only two constellations, JQV and MK7.
As for the war, it's not an all-out war between alliances, but more of a skirmish. I fully expect we'll negotiate peace since it's a rather pointless fight, tbh.

What are you talking about? I was not flaming in that post. In his latest map he shows Atuk then in parenthesis he has HLW-HP. I was merely pointing out that this little part of the map was incorrect as ATUK have either moved to different area of space or have begun playing a different game for the time being. If he doesnt want to have a correct map then by all means disregard my post but what i said is fact.

Non-aggression Pact.
Exactly how the pact was written, and to what extent it aplied is up to the different alliances.
XIF had a rather elaborate but ancient NAP with CA until recently, while I believe our NAP with SA is simpler and a bit more flexible.
What every NAP comes down to is basically:
You do not shoot me, I do not shoot you.

Nice map again kohn but silant vale is claimed by UNICOR you may want to check with some one in Everlasting vendetta if its just certain areas within silant vale they seem to be the main corp there also NAST proberly dosnt want free space in silant vale since they allied with them.

Perhaps some updates from your Alliance friends would not go unmissed as ATUK's continued presence thoughout Scalding Pass, Insmother and Cache is clearly previlant. The choice not to take the tactically worthless HLW area on remains ours.

Hey, excellent map!! Looks like you've ironed it out pretty well.
I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but CFS also works along with multiple like minded small alliances in Delve, Period Basis, and Querious. Some of these Alliances are the Empyrean Federation (EF) and Deep Space Mining (DSMA) in addition to other individual corporations that are working for the advancement of Free Space (Black Avatars, e.g.) Perhaps, next to CFS, you could and "and friends".
Meanwhile, I'll try to convince them to get under one name to make it easier for you
P.S. CFS and Friends were significant platers in ridding Paragon Soul of C4 too, that is, until the last day of the war when Fountain showed up and told us all to get lost

Immensia will likely become a CA region... 2 reasons really
its right next to the Curse home stations, and the 3 stations are easy to hold and we have held them for a few weeks now with them only falling for at most an hour or two.
and from what Ive seen of Unicor they are just prime targets.... camp a system and kill the straggling Unicor.
Vendetta is the only group doing anything for that allaince and they are already spread thin.

I'm not from UNICOR but I'm travelling through their space to raid Cache. And most of time it's EV ships that are camping around.
Second thing, concerning the stations:
-Vale of Silent:
LS-JEP is Everlasting Vendetta (according to map and corp description)
JZV-F4 is Millenium (map + corp descirption)
ZLZ-1Z is IMR Shadow (map + corp description)
3 UNICOR corporations.
Although frequent encounters with Crice Corp, Paladin of the Red Skull and some miscallenous corps in Geminate and Vale of Silent, I think part of this area can be considered as UNICOR.
I have no personnal interest in this "influence" (I should say "flame") war thing, I'm just trying to make this alliance map reflect the truth.
I would suggest to make Vale of Silent appear as Unicor but would put a "danger" tag on P3EN-3.
I won't pronounce myself for sovereignity of Geminate atm. Maybe I'll check in my next trips

The problem is not this space to be secured, the problem is that you have an alliance with the will to get a piece of space and which owns the stations most of the time and has a regular presence in this space. ALL those elements make me think that this is a territorial claim that should appear on the map. Not because you like it or not, not because I like it or not, just because it's fair and realist.
You guys should not forget that this is just a game, so frankly your personnal feelings about this or what you got for dinner etc... nobody cares. This map must reflect things like they are. Here: UNICOR and the place still being a warzone.

As I know, CFS doesnt owns any station, the corps in Querious region, who owned stations, joined FA. Or something like that. (Somebody could confirm or disconfirm this.) Of course CFS area is still CFS area, but i dont know how still will be the region, i hope all parties stay calm until Shiva, what will change the station-owning thing. So my point is all CFS territory belongs to FA either. |
