Hello eve community I come here to warn you about a corp thief named Shadowstrike he was up until yesterday a member of Black Avatar and was recently added to our production team about 2 weeks ago.
Sadly this was a mistake by our part and he cleaned out a industrial load of mineral including iso, noc, zyd, and mega (Thankfully small quantities of the latter) yesterday during a slow time when we had not as many members online.
The loss while large about 300 million or more was not anything that will in anyway cripple Black Avatar and has been replaced allready with abit of work from our members. The betrayel of Trust will hurt us more.
The corp thief in question has now joined Vengence of the fallen a corp that is part of the Curse Alliance and one of there flagship corps, a much respected corp for there prowness in combat.
This is a warning to all inclueding VTOF of the type of person shadowstrike is.

Sorry to hear that Hicks, I would imagine though that your warnings to VOTF will fall on deaf ears. The CA has a long history of accepting corp thieves into their ranks. I hear they suck at EVE too.

Hmm, since CA claims they kill 30 battleships from your corp each day, I figure 300M isn't a big loss

I'm sorry to hear that hicks, Black Avatar is a good corp that in no way deserves this. Take it as a victory I say.. for CA to spend the time and effort it must show you've affected them more on the battlefield than they are willing to admit.

Is this the same ShadowStrike that I know from Biomass and then F-E corp? If so, you should know that that account was sold and it is not the same guy we all knew.

Hrmm....implying that CA was planning this? Doubtful....I know Xirt does not like stealing as a way of playing this game so i can garantee he would not have condoned this act

Further to my post at the beginning. black Avatar does not hold VOTF responsable for this we are mearly pointing out that they have accepted a corp thief into there ranks and to realise that leopards never change there spots so to speak.
Black Avatar consider this as just been a post to inform the community in genral about this incident. It is not Black Avatars wish that this thread be turned into a flame war with VTOF and the CA as regards it.
The fact is Shadowstrike is a corp thief he was put into a position with responsabilites and he abused the position and stole from us. As most of the eve community knows the lowest form of life in this game is the corp thief and we are mearly pointing out this scumbag to the community.

If it was not planned by VOTF or CA then I apologize, but you have to admit it does look like that at first glance. Money stolen from one of the biggest corps in the Querious area, and the person responsible joins a prominent CA corp right after..
Someone must of accepted his application, if they didn't check his employment history.. well thats just..

ok well i guess its time for my part,
yes im guilty. the exact value of minerals was 276,429,012 isk. i know this because i calculated exactly what i was taken.
i will also be one of the first to admit that theft is wrong. for two days i sat there wanting to give it back. because i couldnt deal with the guilt. (its a game i know)
i was given so many promises by Black Avater. A responsable corp role (production officer),payed corp insurance, supplied ships (depending on insurance)and general help and looking after.
firstly - i was givin a list to keep filled as production officor which i did and i spent alot of time doing it. even made a schedule so that i could be more efficient. i was relieved of this position due to apparently placing some minor equipment in the wrong hanger, which may i add i was told to put them there.
secondly - the corp told me to get my battleships to empire and the corp would insure them so that i could do some pvp without taken to much of a loss if i was podded. and so i did. i took a megathron and a apoc. i waited 3 f**king days in empire asking for a account to insure my ships. i mailed the CE, asked in corp chat and even spoke on teamspeak. there response was (blank) and so i had to pay roughly 70mill for plat insurance on both (which was advised by Black Avater)
unfortunatly m0o and CA had been doing there jobs right in A2 solasystem and got me while transporting both ships back to h74. (well done guys!)
i am not sure if anyone is aware but there is a problem with insurance recently where you do not get the pay out which basically means i had lost two battleships with no payout what so ever. (i am aware that ccp are to be blamed here and im STILL going through petitions to get my isk back)
since i had no ships i asked Black Avater to help me out. response - (blank)
so i strolled into empire a very unhappy man. no battleships, no production role, no insurance money, nothing and worst of all a pretty much IGNORED member of Black Avater. i sat in khanid prime with nothing and while flicking through the hangers it crossed my mind. and guess what i decided to do? - you guessed it i decided to take the minerals and get my to battleships back. 70m (insurance) + megathron + apoc = 270m.
thats the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, some people may agree with it and some wont. but either way as i was once told theres always three side to the story. the accusation, the defendant and the truth.

I don't claim to know how Black Avatar works internally, but why would anyone give you two battleships, and the insurance for them. How does being on the production team warrant that sort of expense on their behalf?
Most people who produce internally do it because they like to, or because they want to help the corporation, not because there is some sort of profit and living to be made by selling stuff to your corpmates at mineral cost. I agree there should be compensation for the time spent doing such tasks, but you didn't negotiate, you just took what you thought was "fair" and a rather large sum at that.
You got impatient, then greedy, stole other people's work and joined their enemy. Good luck getting accepted into a good corp, you only have one reputation..

i owned the battleships my self. they was not provided by the corp. the only expence i had asked for from back avater was the insurance money which was 70mill. and they had told me initialy that they would do that for me.
as for profit in production. wtf you talking bout. thats was just a role to keep me busy. i wasnt expecting to make any money doing it. read my first post properly mate

ShowdowStrike your very implication that we ignored you is totally false.
Secondly, You were given a role in the corp and trust was given. When things were being done incorrectly, messages were sent but no role was revoked. How else did you get access to the mineral in question if you no longer had access to it> Your role was still intact obviously.
You stole from the corporation like a coward. If you were unhappy, then you should have parted company. I spoke to you for more than an hour trying to make you feel welcome and apart of the corp. I placed trust in you and you blatently broke in no more than one week.
You are a thief, a coward and unwelcome. Please just go away as your words are nothing more than lies. I still have all of the Mails you sent and not one mentions a lost Battleship or even that you needed insurance on your.
I am completely done with you, enjoy your time in EVE, as short as it maybe.
