meh...not much of a smack down.
A little history less for you:
-Chamberlain flew to Munich to negotiate the agreement, and received an ecstatic reception upon his return to Britain on 30 September 1938. At Heston Aerodrome, west of London, he made the now famous "Peace for our time" speech and waved the agreement to a delighted crowd. When ***** invaded and seized the rest of Czechoslovakia in March 1939...
-nice negotiation
-He did, however, abort the proposal of von Kleist and Wilhelm Canaris before the invasion to Austria to assassinate *****, deciding instead to play on the edge of the situation: to maintain a strong anti-communist power in Central Europe, with the ****s, accepting some 'reward' on 'lebensraum' and still 'manage' with *****. Chamberlain, who was nicknamed "Monsieur J'aime Berlin" (French for Mr I love Berlin) just before the outbreak of hostilities, remained hopeful up until Germany's invasion of the Low Countries that a peace treaty to avert a general war
On 1 September 1939, Germany invaded Poland. Many in the United Kingdom expected war, but the government did not wish to make a formal declaration unless it had the support of France. France's intentions were unclear at that point, and the government could only give Germany an ultimatum: if ****** withdrew his troops within two days, Britain would help to open talks between Germany and Poland
words of Oliver Cromwell to the Long Parliament: ô You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing. Depart, I say, and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go. ö
bye neville.
Appeasment.
how many lives could have been saved if he had stood up to you know who? Giddy up!

Half our country voted for our current President.
Nuff said.
...and that is your reasoning? Lame.
sounds like you took the easy route because everyone dislikes him. But I do think you feel Americans are stupid. Care to explain why? The real reason. Giddy up!

That means your quote should have said :
"I'm an American. Why do you feel the need to single out Americans ? You think we're dumb?"
That's why it's ironic.

Just talk to your fellow Americans. Go to a local pub and see if anyone knows what the Munich Agreement is. Or who Neville Chamberlain is. Or if ****** was working with al-Qaida. Or how many people think the earth is less than 10,000 years old (45% in the last poll I saw). Ask them what the value of Pi is. Ask them what Pi is. Ask them who their Senator and congressmen are.
Man...the list goes on and on. Hopefully you get the point.
Note none of that has to do with opinion. Just simple, basic knowledge. After that it is no wonder opinion is all messed up.
and you get this information from where? some "news" survey? I know the answers to all your damn questions. Its pretty pathetic to say most people from county X are such and such. It is about equal to rascism.
Giddy up!

chances are most of you use a computer, Which was invented by an AMERICAN, made by an AMERICAN company. You are on the internet, an AMERICAN invention and using an operating system again created by AMERCANS.
What has any company from where ever you are from contributed to the world? Giddy up!

Quote: chances are most of you use a computer, Which was invented by an AMERICAN
The first computers (that could perform calculations) where abacuses. That'd be China. Computers have progressed gradually since then, where do you draw the line at a "real" computer?
Quote: made by an AMERICAN company.
Nope, -mostly- made in China/Korea/Japan. Most electronic components are.
I won't go on about how many non-American inventions there are. Stop being arrogant, the first step to getting respect is giving it. I've met plenty of nice Americans, and a couple nasty ones. I've met plenty of nice Canadians, and a couple nasty ones. Most people are dumb. Their nationality doesn't factor too much into it.
you know who claude shannon is? I'll bet you don't. He is considered the father of the digital revolution. Yes, he is an american. Giddy up!

Intel. American. AMD. American. Kingston (RAM) American.
DELL. AMERICAN. HP. American. Apple. American. I could go on but no need.
I am not saying no one else has contributed anything or does contribute. I am merely arguing the point that was stated earlier. Some idiot earlier wrote that AMERICANS ARE STUPID.
Why would anyone say a blanket generalization like that? Saying something like that is stupid. but then people started agreeing with said idiot. Who is more stupid, the fool or the fool who follows him? Giddy up!
