Sandra Bullock vs Anna Nicole Smith. Honestly boys, which one do you really prefer? That's right, the one with the bigger... brain.
I think there is plenty of scope for class and style, even if bust, waist and hip size can be configured between "Kate Moss" and "Anna Nicole Smith" proportions.

who the hell carries his wallet in a front pocket?
yes... wallet... right... so how about then giving us ability to adjust the size of front pockets on male jackets? you know, where the pectoralis major muscles are... and i'm quite sure that there is also a pocket in the area of biceps that also needs some adjusting

This thread is el oh el material.
Seriously though, there are certain aspects of the bust that really need to be considered for realistic purposes, as well as other parts of the body.
For example: I understand they are working on phonemes for when a character talks. Well, in most games, if a character moves their mouth, it causes the rest of their head to stay fixed in place. This is absolutely absurd. When a person talks their chin and nose moves around, as well as their cheeks.
If you want to have a good looking game that approaches the holy grail of animation, you need to take into consideration a few of the following things:
Skin sheen. People are NOT shiny, they are matte. Mouth movements. Make the character wiggle their face when they move their pie hole. Bust movement. Busts don't bounce when you walk but they don't stay fixed in place either. Leg anatomy. This is something that I've always found nuts.. legs do not move straight in front of you when you walk. You tend to move them inward to keep your center of gravity. Hair flow. Hair should not move "slowly" for dramatic purposes. It should be bound by the laws of gravity and stay still when you are static and move when you are running.
As an animator I can tell you these are all things I strive to see when I am looking at a 3D model. Keep it real and make sure these things stay in line and I will be a very, very happy panda face :3
Also lip gloss ftw.

Originally by: Britni Akrei So, I was going about my business when I had a thought the other day. You know how apparently you'll be able to modify a lot of your character's features, like their hair, outfit, even things like weight and scars?
What about, well, their bust size ?
Maybe we should ask CCP to put in a rank-8 skill for "reproductive organ pumpage" It could be a mechanical skill or for my part a social skill. Maximum sizes would be related to skill level so if you really wanted enormous boobies you'd have to spend 45 days training for it..... LOL
On the other hand, I hope they allow us to make characters look old gaunt and heavily battle scarred too....

I have to say that I have found many comments in this thread quite humorous.
All I want are realistic females with the ability to customize.
I don't know about anyone else, but I want a really fat, ugly alt to socialize with. Will be fun to stalk corp/alliance mates.

The worst part is, a lot of "guys in real life" will be playing female characters with "huge tracts of land".
Makes me shudder to think about it...
Even worse, some guys chatting up a female character, looking at her toon's endowment, and...
well, it's too hideous to contemplate... ------------------

And demote this woman.
CCP has formed an idea of how we want Ambulation to look and feel like, DoA type of women donŠt meet that vision. Demoting me and promoting someone else wonŠt change anything with that vision because we all have to stick to it.
ItŠs also short sighted to think that because IŠm a woman I have something against curvy women who are hot, but DoA stereotypes dont belong in a hyper realistic and dark universe, just like the hello kitty kestrel looks awesome but doesnŠt fit EVE.
I think a personalities like Aria or Dita von Teese could make realistic characters in Ambulation with the Ambulation clothingstyles being developed now.
Eyecandy isnŠt about tiny bikiniŠs and impossible unrealistic human figures, it can also be about class, restraint, sophistication, plenty of curves and no curves. A black and white picture that almost shows a bit of flesh is often more interesting than a real x rated picture.

Since we are on the topic of shapes, im curious to know how far we will be able to diverge from the standard human proportions. Ive gone into this a few times in other ambulation threads, but its really the one thing im truly interested in knowing. Humanity in EVE has spread pretty far and wide, settled what one would assume would be quite a few planets as well as having an extensive orbital civilization. While humanity long ago reached the stage where we largely alter the enviroment to suit us as opposed to the opposite, even in EVE it would seem there are still some factors we cannot fully master, such as gravity. These things might still shape us in ways we can't fully control.

You know what, the art that you get as background when you select your race in the character select screen (typically showing a female and a male of the race), I want to see those proportions and clothing.
Not much to ask.
