Originally by: Dire Radiant I cant stand corp jumpers so I've started to fight fire with fire.
The tactic I've used recently against war dec avoidance corp jumpers is to establish corps with alts and dec my targets. One man corps with 1-2 wars each. Most corps ignore the 1 man alt corp war dec thinking its not going be a threat.
Have my PVPers apply to those corps. Find the war targets and get in position (target is completely unaware) then have the alt accept the applicant to get an instant war target for the PVPer. As soon as the take down is complete or when it is convenient, have the PVPer drop out of the corp and go reapply.
We could do that too, but personally, I pride myself on my employment history. So I figured with the way I suggest, it would avoid that, and help towards a common goal, kill the more exploitive corp jumpers.
I have an alt that is pvp capable, and even more capable with 5 or 6 people lending remote support. We will get our pound of flesh, I assure you.

yep all you need is some good wingmen to fly with you and support you. Nexa is a good pilot, but I doubt she would be able to do much without her gangmates. I think newb corps should try to balance their corps with combat types and industry types so that war dec corps can chose less organized targets. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Hire the noob mercs to dec yourself if you want pvp.
If you want to bother people who have no skills, don't want to fight and have no interest in your brand of pvp then whatver annoyance you get in return is perfectly fine, even commendable.
In short, man up and find someone worth fighting, join rvb, go 0.0, dec some goons or bob or someone with real teeth. Barring that, quit whining.

Wrong again. I started my corp solo with a crap skillset and basic ships and gear. I would dec 3 corps constantly, and in return I would also have people hire merc corps to help kill me. I managed to score plenty of kills with minimal losses.
Nowadays if you look at my kb stats, you will see half of my kills are solo kills.
Never underestimate the damage a single player can do. I had my alt who could barely use scrammers dec a corp and do 250mil+ in damage to them using only a Caracal.

Sorry I did not mean to take away from your own personal skills, just encouraging fleets for less skilled players. Their salvcation would be a frigate gang. I have seen many caracal die to a 2-3 frigates.I would like to point out to new players though that a frig gang can be most upsetting to single players, and you only need a few to takeout a battleship. All you need to do is use tactics. Because when it is all said and done, it is about who has the most isk. |

Once again, just because it's a pvp corp, doesn't mean you're guaranteed a good fight. We just spent a few weeks with Privateers to kill a common enemy and even pvp corps like the Goons scored 0 kills against our corp. It means nothing.
We went against 12 alliances and scored 258 kills vs 17 losses. Alliances don't mean a lot. Stats mean nothing. I can guarantee if any of those alliances put in a concerted effort like Ivy League did for a short time, we would've suffered way more losses.
We dec'd Ivy on our own too and did quite well. Believe me, they have teeth aplenty. I've not seen such large empire gangs in some time. We did fairly well against them all things considered.
I have no desire to do low sec due to sec status hits, and I have no desire to be part of a 0.0 alliance and we don't have any desire to make our own stake in 0.0. We go out there hunting though and same with low sec and guess what? We enter a system and people dock, safe, cloak, or call in enough numbers to squarsh us.
Post with your main at least. Jeez.

No problem. I think a lot of people underestimate small corps and end up paying for it.
Seriously, most of the corps we dec have more than a good chance of beating us down but they don't even try. I mean geez, at least pick up a cheap cruiser and have a little fun. Packing up ship and quitting corp within minutes is just a bit odd to me.

What I think most "new", and in some cases, established players don't realize about Eve; there is no "End Game" to it. There's not Molten Core, Blackwing Lair, or Black Temple to grind toward. CCP has sprinkled content here and there around the galaxy, but for the most part Eve content is player created. Whether it's the market in Jita, that nearby gate to 0.0, or your favorite asteroid belt there's more content available to you, whether you want it or not. Here's the thing... Take advantage of it. An empire war corp is doing you a favor by deccing you. You may not realize it, but they are offering you a chance to expand your knowledge of the game. When you jump corp, you lose.
I'm a total noob to this game, but it took me less than a month of reading these forums and blowing my way through the gates in Airaken to figure this one out.

So If you wanted a fight why dont you head out to low sec and pick a fight the corps that stay in high sec might not want to fight. So Head out to Low sec and get popped and if your luck pod a few

I think you need to re-read what was said above. Low sec isn't an option due to sec-status hits. If nexa were to start killing non-wardecced peeps in lowsec, she'd have problems entering high sec before very long. The only pirates I see with -10 sec status constatly are the ones sitting in gatecamps all day.

Random capitalization FTW!
I can see by your punctuation, you're already struggling. Take some time, reread some of my comments and maybe things will become a bit clearer.
Why is it all these alts seem to have the same writing style. Jumbled sentences, no paragraphs, nonsensical capitalization. Could they be related?
To use the same analogy you gave, if TRAPS is lame for not going to low sec/0.0 to fight, aren't all the corps who mine in high sec instead of low sec lame as well? Same would apply to mission runners. I mean they're missing out on higher rewards sitting in Motsu all day.
So by your equation, anyone who doesn't live in low sec or 0.0 is lame. Right?
Feel free to look at our killboard. We do get out to low sec and 0.0. We also have characters in low sec or 0.0 and we prefer something different. Excuse us for living.

Typical carebear comment right there.
Not everyone gets off on being raped by nanofaggotry and blobfests. Empire wars are a nice change from bubble camps and 5km/s nano-HACs.
And all these corps have to do is pay the ransom to end the war, and they never have to deal with TRAPS again. Instead they hop, die, hop, die and then **** and moan because they personally lost 500mil worth of **** when the corp could have paid a paltry 100mil between them and never had to worry about TRAPS again.
I really hope they change it to disallow hopping. Theres no risk in hopping to a 'safe' corp while keeping your billions. You can't have your cake and eat it too (or you shouldnt be able to, anyway)

And you could take it further so that if they join a new corp during that war the dec also carries over to said corp. As in, you can shoot thier corp, but they can't shoot back until you agress (like joining a gang that is at war)
I have a feeling most CEO's would think twice before allowing someone to bring conflict to their corp (especially carebear CEO's)

what was the name of the corp or ally that set off with a few thousants gamers (according to what i was told)frigates and made its first attack on pos and won? i think its one of the big ones now. yes small ships and noobs can do damage if they are in numbers. all you need is organisation.
so far i have survived two wars with no problem or corp jumping. in both cases the enemies gave up coz they never moved up in our ''area'' and were just hopping that they will find some of us flying around solo.
you all talk about carebears etc, but me a noob (carebear??) was there waiting for them. the pvpiers never come. this is why i say that a carebear will only fight when he/she is ready as the rest of its time he/she has fittings for missions etc. being a carebear that doesnt really fancy war and pvp doesnt make you useless and it doesnt mean you dont know how to fight. it just means you are not always ready to fight

I've already put the dec in on my alts corp, and a few other people have expressed interest.
An interesting idea, I'll grant you. As supportive as I am in the planning behind this venture, I really must ask; What stops a corp jumper from sitting in the noob corps (such as State War Acedemy) if squeezed multiple times? Surely they'll learn and avoid player run corps if their only goal in game is to run missions?
