Is this limited to losec just for sisi?
No. How it is on Sisi is how it'll be on TQ.

Wait I thought the dev blogs said it takes place in high sec as well. Or is it just that the capturable areas are in low sec, and it will take place in high sec as well because you can fight enemy militias anywhere?
It's a sanctioned war so combat may occur anywhere, although combat itself is more likely to occur in the low sec combat zones.

Originally by: Leela Onios Just a question on the standing requirements to join militias.
How come the diplomacy skill does not help when concerning militias?
If FW is suppose to help bridge the gap between empire players and 0.0/lowsec players, how come this commonly used skill amongst mission runners is not taken into consideration?
We decided that for the militias it was best to enforce a "hard" 0.5 standings limit. The main reason is that we don't want people switching factions willy-nilly. It is very easy to game the system if we allow people to be at a small negative pre-skills standing when signing up. This is not really special-casing though as the Diplomacy skill is directed towards agents, as stated in it's description: "Skill at interacting with hostile Agents. 0.4 Bonus per level to effective standing towards hostile Agents." "

Good read and very constructive criticism so far! Wish the dev blogs could have this sort of feedback ;)
I just wanted to remind you that you will make us even more happy happy if you bug report issues that you encounter, even if you are writing about them in this thread.
Thank you all and keep it up!

Originally by: Darius Shakor Well I have been mission running in eve for a very long time and I have never seen these missions. Unless you are talking about the COSMOS missions sending you into static complexes. I am not talking about static complexes though, and I would not qualify COSMOS as 'normal' missions. 20-30? You will forgive me if I find that a huge stretch.
High end missions do not have restrictions, but many of the lvl1 and a few of the lvl2 missions do.

Mission rewards adjust over time. Since these are new missions, the rewards will be low at first.

Good feedback, keep it coming. I'll raise some of the issues that have been mentioned with the developers. (Note, this is not a promise that anything will be implemented, but it will be discussed.)

4. This one will really be the reason I probably won't join in Faction Warfare even though I think it has great potential and has been a lot of fun on Sisi:
06:51:49 Notify The drone control bandwidth of your ship has been modified causing you to lose the ability to control some drones.
06:51:49 Notify The Caldari Navy Vice Admiral is too far away, you need to be within 4474 meters of it but are actually 30912 meters away.
(( I have at least 65k range with the drones on that ship))
06:51:50 Notify Caldari Police Commissioner has started trying to warp scramble you!
06:51:50 Notify Caldari Police Commissioner has started trying to warp scramble you!
(( A militia mate in a hac had no less than 3 scram points on her, I got lucky and only had 2))
06:51:51 Notify Medium Armor Repairer II requires 160.0 units of charge. The capacitor has only 1.6 units.
(( I was neuted to hell and back))
06:51:55 Combat Caldari Police Commissioner aims well at you, inflicting 854.6 damage.
(( Wow these rats are ridiculously weak, you should think of buffing them /sarcasm off))
I was in a Myrm and another person in a Ishtar, we accidently jumped into highsec as we were scanning a load of systems and I didn't check the map.
Now I foolishly thought that we could align and try and pop a few rats before warping off, but this is ridiculous, they scrammed neuted and hit so damn hard that we both popped in about 30s, they responded like concorde.
To be honest if this is the way the faction navies react when you enter enemy highsec then I won't even bother with faction warfare as it's just more trouble than it's worth.
It sounds like you ran into the Faction Police and not the navy. The Faction Navy does not scramble you. If you have by accident found a place where they do, please send a bug report.

This is plain lazy. A seperate flag should be made for factional warfare instead of altering the entire mechanic around joining a warring gang.
Once again the balance will tip back in favour of griefers picking off small corporations as their friends will no longer be able to help them.
I think you are misunderstanding this mechanic.
EVE Online: Trinity (Current behavior): You have Character A in war with Character C. Character B joins a Gang with Character A. Character C can now shoot Character B. Character B cannot shoot Character C until Character C have aggression towards Character B.
EVE Online: Empyrean Age (New behavior): You have Character A in war with Character C. Character B joins a Gang with Character A. Character C cannot shoot Character B. Character B cannot shoot Character C.
