I'm not sure if this has been brought forward before or not. But this forum needs some way of identifying when a CSM member has posted in a given thread, similar to the way Dev's get a blue bar. That way we as members can see when a CSM has responded/asked questions about an idea. As it stands now there is no way to tell if anything is getting done in these forums.

Hmm not a bad idea but it should only show on this forum as we wouldn't want new people gettign confused as to what the colours mean. I mean these are just players afterall. Maybe a nice Rainbow coloured bar.....

CSM are nowhere near on the level of CCP employees. People relate bars on a thread with an official response, CSM are nowhere near official. Adding special bars will only cause confusion and CSM to have inflated egos.

In these Jita and Assembly Hall forums we *are* the official response, though you could be forgiven presently for not realising that for the very reason that it isn't clear.

Confusion if we had the same colour assigned to us as CCP use? absolutely. Outwith our control though so we'll have to see what is put in place, but creating confusion is not something anyone wants.

In the list of threads, you can tell whether a Dev has posted in any given thread without even looking at the thread contents. Besides, how would you "recognise" such a post by it's content's? The excelent use of the english language?

Nicely put. As the first CSM, there are really no tools *yet* to assist with coordinating and running through all the posts.
So the flagging of CSM content is as much to provide the CSM with the capability to gain more coverage and not double-up, as it is to let people in the Assembly hall know if they're getting visibility to the CSM.
At I guess, It's probably relatively easy for CCP to implement while we get around to proposing more useful tools (listed on other threads here).
