One thing I have learned is that no matter how well you craft a message in COAD, it will get trolled and derailed by people that have absolutely no clue of what happened.
That said, I am breaking Daisho's COAD silence to thank Hydra for some great fights. Yes we had some heavy hardware in the area, but going into someone's home systems with 2x your numbers kinda makes you want to come prepared ;) (especially since we expected MM & Pure to jump in at any point)
Regardless, it was public that this was a planned 2 week duration and Hydra could have simply hid in empire and done missions till it was over, but they didn't. I have seen a lot of smack on these forums about how Hydra is sub-standard and it was an unfair fight. I do not believe the former to be true at all. While thier FC's may have a little way to go on tactics, their doctrine was solid and they constantly looked for ways to hit back at us. For that I only have respect. They brought a clean smack free fight and I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Daisho has pulled out, and already Hydra has their jammers repped and are back on their feet .. most alliances simply crumble when under that kind of pressure. We may be back on roaming ops if nothing for the fact that you bring a good fight.
On the topic of Titan usage in the theater, yeah we used it a couple of times cause it was a shiny new toy, but in the end we used it a lot less primarily because our own membership complained that they wanted conventional fights. One result of which was an awesome fight where we warped a single carrier to thier pos to hit mods, Hydra, as expected brought in their sniper fleet, our recon established position and brought in a dictor ... bubble went up and the fight was on.. pure Titan free carnage even through we were in a position to DD. There was a lot of "GF"'s in local and a lot of fun to be had.
As for Daisho, we're taking a holiday since we haven't had a break since moving "North" but shortly we will be starting a campaign to make life a living hell for some people that are annoying me unless someone flashes some ISK in front of me to distract our attention We make no hard core mercenary claims, we are a group of friends looking for fights - but who can say no to ISK ;)

That is a pretty good report, and I'm glad you did not mention any killboard ratio, those things attract alts like...
You went there, you got your fights, you ended it as planned, and are eager for some more.
Cheers!

Props for a nice report, Darth. It should be a pleasure having you guys in the area.
Props to Hydra for continuing to handle all the "attention" with good cheer and determination.

NC wouldn't have commited unless KIA + Daishio had started fielding capitals that threaten sov. Think before you write ... :)

Hi Darth Sith, thank you for your report. It was very funny to fly against your alliance and i think we learnd a lot about fighting with enemy titans in system.
You did some good DD against us when we where in a bad position (like jumping through a JB or waiting somewhere ;))
On the one hand, you would have got more and nicer fights without usage of the titans, but on the other one, i liked that you used it as a weapon it was ;) just too bad that you aligned faster then every BS so we had less chance to catch him :(
So i wont use any KB ratio either, it cannot be a judge, as you came with your pvpers (most of them were ;)) and we had enough industrials or "idiots" running around not paying attention.
So thanks for the experience to fight against supercaps, i will use it the next time ... be sure ;)
Greetings,
Necrom Benoic

Lolz :)
Actually I chose Genbuku because of it's meaning. Genbuku is the ceremony where a young Ninja in training is given his real sword in place of his wooden sword and he is elevated to the rank of Ninja.
No i am not some young kid with swords in my bedroom nor to I run around in PJ's at night, was bored on a work conference call and came across it in a wiki search when I was looking for and alliance name and it sounded good :P
No Bukkake for you ;)

"The daishō (大小, daishō?), lit. "big and small", is a Japanese term referring to the traditional weapons of the samurai. The daishō is composed of the katana and the wakizashi. The etymology of this word becomes apparent when the terms daitō, meaning big sword, and shōtō, meaning small sword, are used; daitō + shōtō = daishō. The katana, the longer of the two swords, was typically employed in man-to-man combat. The wakizashi made an effective main-gauche or close-combat weapon.
The daishō were limited exclusively to the samurai class and were a symbol of their rank. They came into fashion during the Muromachi period. Prior to this, the bow and horse were considered marks of the samurai class and the sword of lesser consequence. It was during this period, too, that the katana switched from a slung weapon with edge down (known as a tachi) to one thrust into the sash with the edge up. This change allowed for a much faster overhead draw while on foot." Sig locked, abuse of use - for more information mail [email protected] |
