If any newish players have read my thread:
meowcat's 0.0 adventure
Then they will know what a jolly time can be had wizzing about amongst the uber-skilled and mega-rich battleship owning overlords that inhabit 0.0 
Since there aren't enough seats on the Incursus that is my 0.0 tour bus, I have decided to attempt to organise a massive newbie invasion of 0.0
So, if anyone is interested in accompanying me on one of my jaunts, and possibly even claim a patch of 0.0 with the n00b flag, please leave your name here. 
If we get enough numbers interested (at least 20-30 required really) we shall see if us pitiful underlings can actually have some impact upon the events that transpire in this vast and terrifying universe.
Conditions:
 You must be a genuine noob, say 2 months old max, ideally about a month
No alts please!
You must be willing to die, and prepared for your own violent slaughter (as this outcome is the most likely)
I will plan the route this evening, and will only release it at the last minute.
Please register your interest in this venture, or alternatively make appropriate derogatory / mocking remarks in the space below.

FYI, newb corp members are generally considered KOS in any areas controlled by an alliance. They are assumed to be spies or scouts.
But good luck anyway. I'd try to avoid HED-GP as an entry point into 0.0.

Sounds like could be fun and a good reason to test how well the clone actually works.
Actually always wanted to do something like this in noob corp, but never got enough interest.
But I may be getting to old (eve wise), near to 2 months playing now.
If I am about and still allowed to go, I am interested in tagging along.
May even have to get myself another noob frigate, just to fit the 'noob invasion' role even better. |

I suggest you guys head up to 6nJ8-V and **** off the Phoenix Alliance. They dont let ANYONE in... but they cant enforce that.

Meowcat great idea, I was thinking about same long time ago , when i was in my small corp, being chased from all 0.0 .
However now for along time i have crossed to the other, "alliance" side, and if you enter the Outer Ring, be prepeared to meet my megathron of doom and drones of destruction:)
Guys if you decide to go , let me tell you a few advices:
Frigates greatest values against bs is locking time, speed .
Be sure to be fast,to kill bs-s greatest would be kestrels with hvy/cruise missiles.To kill drones torpedoes would be great.
I advise to visit fd-mlj and around , its apirate chockepoint , would be a just revenge from starting pilots:)

Thanks man, nice somebody remembers me:),true i have been posting for looong time,tough joined actually beta testing in late beta, 1-2 month before end.
As for my sig thanks again but the truth is yea i like it , but greatest part is i am just much to lazy to change it .Many pilots, like you, have sigs that are true little pieces of art:)
Eve gets overall with the changes better and better doesnt it?

As a peace loving pilot I would love to have my hand in the escort. I might even convince a few corp mates to help.
I would delay the entrance until the balance of frigates though. This balance will make those in BS fleets very nervous. Just think of 100% safe frigates against battleships. The BS wont be able to hit you! So wait till the patch and then there will be no need to waste your hard earned ships and mods.
Notes on your requirments:
Allow anyone to come along. Having spies and such will only make it a great adventure. Contact a news journalist, have him write up an article and become a part of the eve journals. Get a camera man to tape the events. If you are serious and take my advice I can set some rewards for you and your comrades.
So in summary; wait for the balance patch, get a group ready, get a camera man and a journalist, and get some rewards.

Although I'm certain this is going to lead to some headlines (dozens of noobs slaughrtered today as the secret rout of the great 0.0 newb tour was given to a well known pirate corp).
But still, it's a lot of fun, and a worthy adventure :)
Really all you newbs 2 months old or younger really don't have much to lose just bring a small fast, disposable ship (like a frigate as an obvious example), and don't sweat it if and when you lose your ship or get podded.
Being a newb in EVE has it's advantages, the biggest being, getting podded or losing your ship won't set you back very much... kinda like how little kids are when they scrape thier knees, sure they cry and think it's the end of the world for about 20 seconds, but then they are smiling and having fun again.
LOL anyway MeowCat, good luck on your great newb trip.
It reminds me of a nature program:

Hmmm could be fun! Kinda like a frigate race, except pirate groups could be invited/hired to camp out the route to pick off the straglers and things :)

Wow great idea and I wish i could join. EVERY single newbie who reads this should contact meowcat(sp?) and get in on this. And I mean everyone, I still remember the first time I went into 0.0.
Fitted my rifter with shield boosters armor repairs and the like thinking I could 'tank' the gate camps long enough to get through the gate.
Wrong! Was even dumb enough to warp to a camped gate 60KM out thinking I couldn't be hit that far out (stood still too!)
By all means talk to people on the help channel, this forum, the newbie forums and a newbie corp channel.
Here's and idea, set up a gate camp of your own. Charge people going through a fee of your own. Just imagine when SA or CA or whoever brings a fleet to combat the enemy and finds 50 newbie ships demanding a toll 
Ha I might even log in my alt to come and join you sound like a blast.
BTW if you havn't made the Clay Pigeons corp yet do so now. If you need isk convo me and I'll wire it you, its a great name and you should be the proud ceo of such a leet corp
Edit: You also have to tel me where the newbie gate camp is. I'm running the blockade

Just think about what ship equipments are the same on frigates, cruisers or battleships. The key to success lies in your ability to find.

If u invade a alliance system with 50-100 ships you wont need to fight: they will be scared and hide in their stations when they see you in local chat, because they cannot know if there are some BS in this group. Your biggest weapon will be the mighty blop

come up to d7-zac, but if i was you i'd go the long way round via ec-p8r/torrinos, and be careful...
tribute is open to all, and if you're lucky you might be ble to find some people willing to guard an asteroid belt while you mine some high end ore (stranger things have happened)
just be careful... there are a lot of trigger happy people around that area, they even shoot *us* fs :/ (glances at the phoenix alliance)
never feel that just cos you're a n00b you shouldn't go to 0.0. just go with the full intention of dying, and then if you make it back alive it's a nice bonus ;)

As if you have time to read 22 pages of whining. Summary. They are scared of the frigate invasion. They are plain scared.
I will set a date of reward, 500k to each player that reaches my soo choosen station within a time limit and the first 10 to open a trade window with me. meow will evemail me the list of official pilots. I will have a boat load of skills to hand out. The rest that make it will also get some skills. These packages will be made avail when I post the date.
I will suggest those who are the most brave and trained will be very welcomed to our corp. You will still have to meet the corps requirments.

Meowcat i have been thinking many times about the Eve situation and really would like a free 0.0 region for exploration , mining and everything, with only basic mining rules.
I loved to explore and felt really bad when chased from alliances region during my firsts 0.0 trips.
What if we could muster a force , conquer a war torn 0.0 space and make it open to all?
There are still some regions that nobody truly controls, cause everybody fights for it.
If i get acceptation from my corp, I would be happy to help you.
I am curious if other experienced pilots wouldnt be interested or maybe whole alliances.
For the good of Eve a 0.0 region wich is open to everybody with basic mning rules, protected from invasion by a volunteers from all aliiances and starting pilots.The alliances could also sign an agreement upon this.
I like the idea will contact you ingame , maybe you will be interested.

Sounds like fun, barring obvious technical issues like: if it's the only 0.0 open to all, there'll be nothing to mine in it :D and, since it's a known refuge of non-alliance pilots, it'll have a huge drawing force of all sorts of ebil pirates.
Of course, that could just mean combat fun :) I'm definitely interested, and I have a few corp-mates that would be as well. We're all frigate folk so far, about a month old.

This is a very good idea. Everyone should be able to travel anywhere. Alliances can defend their belts, they don't need to camp gates. Pirates can attack miners in belts too and so on.
I'd like to see all the regions open for free exploration, but if you want to start with one I'll help you .

And hey, maybe someone should tell us the quickest way to fit cruise missiles to our rifters... Surely if say 200 newbies fire their cruise missiles simultaniously at some BS we might do a little damage before we're splatted from the universe!!!

I won't be ready for this as I am still training my learning for 2 weeks (but I could come in Velator lol), but if you need I can provide you with a few free missiles/launchers/frigates BPCs, you will be in charge to mine and build the stuff of course...
Just evemail me with your needs a few days before and I will have it done for you, since a frigate BPC takes some time to be made.

This is a really nice idea, but you need crusiers and BS to truely hold a system or region and if you mamage to open a system up for free mining, it'll be striped 1000 noobs all after high end ore, so you'd need a whole region, you can't hold a whole region with Frigs and Shuttle... so we'd have to brin in players that aren't noobs, whole the whol;e thing falls apart the corps and the alliances aren't gonna just give up ore rich systems and we can't take and hold them... We should not get ahead of our
Last night Meowcat was lucky, the corps are reading this and there know we're are harmless and not after their ore, but they're still being Idiots.
If they think we've got eye on their **** we're all dead and maybe so are our corps and it will become open season on noobs anywhere that 0.4 or under.

I have been thinking about this.
and i'm sorry chaps, but if we're going out there with the intension of "concuring" systems and trying a ***** alliance, you can count me out.
It's pointless, meowcat proved last night that, they're reading this thread, if they thing we're a threat they they will turn up with 200 cruisers and Battle ships and kill us as we drop one by one out of the first gate. and even if they just turned up in Frig, their pilot, tracking and weapons skills will do.
Us suggest, a Gumball rally, point to point and no rules... i'm sure that some lovely corps will put up enough cash, skill and kit to make it worth while...

i've done it about 10 times now, and have spent at least 5 hours solid in 0.0 space, and nobody's even landed a shot on me yet
doubtless my luck will run out, but i have nothing to lose so i will just go back in again

ok, here's the deal:
a couple of days before the invasion, i will message all the noobs involved with the name and location of our departure station, and time.
when we have all gathered, I will give out the destination station in 0.0
LUO TZU has generously given me a number of blue prints, and I will have previously moved these to the destination station
the first 3 noobs to arrive safely at the destination will each recieve a blueprint to take home
we will then undertake some gloating and boasting on the local channel in order to infuriate the corp alliance whose patch we have invaded
when they have become suitably enraged, we will undock, en masse, and either attempt to return safely to empire space, or go out in a blaze of glory, depending on what the general consensus is

I think we should chill, you have been lucky... you're one ship... no threat..
I to have been in 0.0 for long spells when i have been "uncle travelling mack" but there is a big difference between one ship having a blast around, a few ships having a bit of race/adventure and an Invasion force, the first two aren't really a threat and therefore won't draw to much concern... but an Invasion force, is only a threat... and will draw nothing but concern...
I know your doing this for fun... but is everybody else??? I don't think so
we're gonna convince a bunch of noobs, not that they can survive out there, which is you and i know is possible, but there can take on corps and alliances and win in frigs... which isn't!!!

It really doesn't matter, because actually when you go in a region, soon or later there is a blockade to prevent you to go further...
But with the jump drives coming soon, you can jump directly in the system you want to go. This means a big big problem for alliances to forbid access to a region, which is all I wanted.

This sounds like a laugh, sign me up meowcat! I too have been exploring 0.0 space as a n00b the last few days. Same as you, despite a lot of threats from big corps nobody has managed to land a shot on me yet either :)
Although I have to admit a) I've done a lot of hiding in stations and b) I've got a set of bookmarks for a specific route that get me in & out of the systems faster than a greased Scotsman down a glass slide :D

i've zipped through a couple of blockades without a problem.
a frigate with 2x MWDs will go from 15km out to jump-gating away in under 2 seconds, before they can even lock you
coming out the other way, if you warp to whatever thing you're pointing at, you'll be in warp before they can lock you - its the realignment that kills you

MWD is Afterburner 4 and Navigation 4, it is a lot of days of training for a newbie lol. But the problem is on the way to be solved, your race idea is fun though  .

and i hate to say this, but if a corp or gang knows what it doing and some do... a bs and a couple of cruiser can lock alomst instantly... i've seen it done!!! this is my whole point, we have make it clear to these chaps that we are only have a laugh and not a threat!!!

Sometimes in 0.0 you can find a belt that has no npc rats for hours. In a frigate you will always find a roid to mine before players or npc come after you. Just warp away and keep warping if its a PC.

Also have you ever really looked at the map. 0.0 is bigger than you think. Do you really think they can find you in 20 roid belts in any system? Once you get in 0.0 you can go and do whatever you want. The more that come the harder it will be for them to swat you. Like a shark in an ocean, yeah they are scary but the ocean is a big place and you always can see that fin(local chat and map).
