Hey,
I was wondering what people think of SA. Good and bad. Do they ever pirate? Are they decent. I havent had much personal experiance with them. How are member corps treated? Things like this.
I dont want to hear people bragging etc. I would just like to know facts.

I'm sure that just like any alliance they have their 10%, (the 10% that acts like idiots and ruins it for everyone else) EVERY alliance does. However, I've talked to a lot of them and they all seem to be good guys/gals. Most of them fight well, act mature, avoid piracy and are great players.

Honestly, i dont care for them. One of my RL friends was mining in Providence, MASS (i think it was mass, if not im sorry but it was SA) went there and made them pay to mine there or they would get killed. My friend said screw you and MASS lost some cruisers i do believe.

Have your friend contanct me with the names and I'll see if I can't get this sorted out for him. ALL SA pilots know that kind of behavior is unacceptable

If there was one truth posted on this forum today, this was it. There is nothing more to say about them personally, the rest is just political. There are plenty of threads and posts for you to read about Stain Katya, which will go beyond what anyone will probably want to sum up for you here.

Well I can't speak about the rest of SA but from what I have seen MASS has some very respectable members, one of their older ones Kileak has been a very entertaining and respectable player and impressive PvPer. I do like SA.

Never liked them since I was in VHI, they booted us out when we were mining in they're space "before they were formed" An they're current activaties are supporting pirates, but not actually pirating I guess.
Decent, depends sometimes, they have they're up's an downs, but every alliance does.

my corp is a sa member. It took us 4 months to join tho. Takes time to build up trust, but they take a close look on commitment and teamplay. Once your in they listen to your voice and help out.
CA helped us to get more organized cause huge alliances tend to be become bureaucratic and slow.
Stain has gone thru a process of restructuring by getting ride of a few corps and "Attidudes".
I guess you have to identify what your alliance stands for. I like it!

Generally the majority of the Stain Alliance likes to keep its buisness off the forums (i do say Generally with a smile - /looks at Bared.) Your best plan is to conv' some members when you see them logging in and if they have time they can explain what we are about. Why we are fighting and the standards we try and uphold. The only opinion about an alliance that you can really trust is the one that you form yourself. If you let other's views of Stain/Curse/[insert random alliance] influence you then you're just setting yourself up to be disappointed. Talk to them, find out for yourself, make your own judgements.

Why even bother (and if I said something regarding CA/C4/SA/FA/CFS someone else might take offence or something). I find it depressing with all the flaming/trolling on these boards so I am trying to stay away as much as possible these days.
(I sometimes wish that the site would crash for a week or so just so people stopped hating and realized it's game)
Just my opinion.

I dunno, i really hate all the flaming, wish there was a board where any type of flaming was banned.. Can only wish.. 
Ill contact afew people in game, as id really like to learn about the alliances and what there goals/attitudes are.

actually, I know 5 guys on both sides of the fence that can tell you about SA (if they will even speak to you). For positive comments, go to TRIGGER, Aeryn Sun, Byarne, Roger Wilco, and Myself. for negative material Talk To Xirtam, Specter/Marz, Omniwar, the Reclaimer, Olyyy, and Joshua Calvert. that way, it will never be fair, but always balanced...

Our corp has just started working with SA, and i think they are a noble group. We are contracted for mining they have done everything in their power to help our corp get set up. The fighters are also very respectful of their enemy's as much as they are of their own members. From what i have seen of them so far, I know our corp would be proud to be considered in SA.

To throw a bit of truth on this thread...there is no real difference between alliances.
I have fought CA as part of SA and now as an independent. I have gotten to know a lot of CA and SA guys after chases, kills and sitting in safespots. They all have great guys and a couple of idiots that can really dampen the fun, but they are in the minority.
Find a corp that has values that you agree with and join them. The Alliance really doesn't matter (althought the CA has tonnes of Ark) as you will have to deal with the political angle of being in an alliance at some point anyways.
The corp is the most important part not the Alliance.
Find people you like and have fun...in Empire or in 0.0.

What a silly thread, you may as well ask are people in America nice guys.
Moo are supposed to be pirates and everyone is supposed to hate them, personally I love reading what they have to say on here, they all seem decent guys. CA I am sure have decents guys, I know SA do. Omega corp has some decent people, I spoke to a couple of them after they blasted me out of space and we had a laugh about it.
People are people the world over, good and bad.
