After a couple months of trying to give BRUCE a chance, fatal problems in how BRUCE operated became apparent. Worse yet, any attempt to correct these issues were met with strong opposition. The reason BRUCE is will never hold conquerable 0.0 for a long period of time is due to one of your cornerstone attributes. Most of BRUCE is "casual gamers"; this group includes a large portion of your Reps and leadership. They do not have the time or will to survive in 0.0. The Council is the 2nd major reason BRUCE will continue to fail at living in conquerable 0.0. They are slow to react and want to be different. They donÆt realize you can be different in your ideals yet still field the same fleet/pos setups as every other major alliance in the game. Due to how your council works it can take several days to more than a week for them to reach a quorum. This DOES NOT work in anything but times of peace, and we all know how rare peace is in any type of 0.0. Your council is also made up of people from failed alliances; they have learned nothing from their past experiences. Every level of your organization is full of people having no clue how to do their job. A few people that knew what they were doing stood out. Namely, Fried and Kithaca, both of which are gone or leaving. While, I liked Fried he didn't have the strength to stand up to your council and make the decisions he knew was needed for BRUCE to survive in Fountain. For those of you upset with Fried leaving you can blame your CEOs and Directors. They forced him out of this alliance with their grandstanding and pride. I am going to set a few things straight. PL initially set BRUCE neutral because of a lack of participation in a war that was going to decide your fate. The survival of BoB would ultimately cause the removal of BRUCE from 0.0. After it was clear that BRUCE had no intention of assisting in the removal of a mutual threat PL set BRUCE neutral and sent small gangs in to Fountain for entertainment. While they were in Fountain they noticed high end moons towered by people that were not even in the region. Moons not in BRUCEs claimed space were initially taken. Some attempts at diplomacy were made. Reasonable offers on PL's part were made and rejected by your leadership. Then 75FA happened. It became clear that BRUCE was not capable of standing against PL. PL started to obtain more and more moons, some towered by BRUCE and some not. PL did not want to see BRUCE removed from Fountain as you could have been a useful ally, however it would be stupid of PL not to take every high end moon they could. The final offer was made and your leadership chooses to continue making the same mistakes rather than restructuring and getting your leadership in to modal that would work in 0.0. The council branded the offer as an agreement to be a "PL pet", which is not at all what it was. BRUCE would not be paying rent to PL, although some of you view moons PL took as rent. PL offered assistance in training existing current as well as new FCs.

PL's only interest is containing BoB with the intent of eventually removing them. You got in the way of this. Not only did you get in the way you did your best to continually be in the way. It appeared as if you wanted to keep Fountain warm for BoB to retake it. This is not something PL could allow happen, with our without your assistance. Now that you are leaving Fountain and are no longer in a position to affect the war I will be going back to GoonSwarm. At this point BRUCE is a dead man walking. If you honestly think after losing most of your PvP you are going to push Hazzah out of the PC9 area you are stupid. While Hazzah is not a PvP powerhouse they have a leg up on you in a lot of respects. They are strong enough to make taking their portion of Syndicate very difficult. Your best if you wish to continue being in 0.0 is you leave BRUCE and join other established alliances. You are leaving one fire and stepping in to another and you leadership is not prepared for it. My avatar is a nice joke that no one ever caught. It is a picture of Ovid. A few people I met along the way are incredibly stupid. These people include your entire Council(with the exception of a few people), Rodney Caston(next time don't confide in someone that came from the alliance you are spying on), Steph Wing(just a very ******** RPer), Princess Guard(at least spell my name right when are going to call me an assface on your blog) and Jessica Luv(I told PL about her being uncloaked at the offline tower, also she was the one that recruited me out of the Recruitment channel). I would also like to thank all the people that contracted me their stuff in the last couple days. I am already liquidating the valuable items.

Secondly, our forum's and vent was quite hackable, so you were by no means the downfall of bruce (and I'm wondering whether even goonswarm will welcome back a kicked member and proven spy). But since the post seems pretty much how it would sound coming from Midgath, I will presume it is I never liked your posting (arrogant, high and mighty etc) and makes sense since since you took so much effort to damage your own alliance, and all your friends (lol) while making some convoluted reference to ancient rome. Perhaps, perhaps, the alliance council structure was flawed...and I must admit defending the odd red and carebearing took over when we should of been hitting back at BoB, and when PL came to pew we just should of aligned with BoB. Afterall, everyone else in 0.0 only seems to survive by means of massive NAP. In my opinion, BRUCE tried and was kicked, not because of different fleets (that worked quite well for the most part, and losses were easily accounted for), or simply mining/station hugging all day and not fighting. BRUCE was kicked because our leadership had big RL commitments for the most part (talking about FOOM particularly) and wanted to have fun after work, not be 2nd guessed constantly because of spies, and turned against by SoT and of course PL/GS that we counted as friends, and alot of other bull** that turned eve into work for all of us after a while. So although BRUCE may not hold fountain much longer, the whole PL/GS saga acheived this: Left fountain an easy target for BOB. PL may disagree now but after BRUCE taking CR there was alot of muttering on how our fleets could have been the difference against BoB, and that would be the case now in defending. Splintered BRUCE, with alot of the main corps/players now working as mercenaries. Made alot of people pretty **ed with PL and goons. So a pretty shallow victory I would think.

But I do not wanna go into killboard chestbeating or any discussion of this kind here; a closer look at the fittings shows: Yes, we have some brutally (mostly) cloaked empire guys sitting or docked in PC9 with 90% in T1 ships right now. Their numbers in local vary from 1-2 Bruce in EU to 15 in US TZ. So far no real fights have happened, only the usual ganking - even if there have been some opportunities where Bruce preferred not to attack and stay cloaked or docked (at least I heard so). Our intel says Bruce wants to do some kind of a push towards Syndicate from Friday on, so things stay interested and we are looking forward to get hopefully some good fights then against an old enemy. Anyhow, we do not underestimate the power of the Blob Bruce once field - be sure we are prepared and armed against Blobs :wink:

Also BRUCE put up a cyno jammer in a system set for a jump bridge POS however BRUCE didn't realise one of the above POS's was in system and PL seen this as another attack and quickly killed the BRUCE cyno jammer and POS. For the OP - spying in the way you have is the lowest thing you can do in this game and i hope you never get let into a corp or alliance again - meta gaming in this way is killing eve in my opinion and those that have played for years are slowly leaving because of it.

All risk aside goonswarm is a place for goons to come to this game and have fun no matter what aspect of the game they wish to seek that entertainment out of.
