To all the people crying "you must be a **** in real life" or something similar, get the hell out. I personally play this game to grief people as it is funny as hell, seeing as apart from seal clubbing there aren't any equally funny professions available in real life. The game has been proven to be a harsh environment just how many times now?.. Moaning about the guy doing this is stupid to say the least. As for the ton of isk the guy got - well, don't fly what you can't afford to lose and don't contract stuff you can't afford losing. Times like these show the ridiculousness of e-honour well and just how the game _is_ a sandbox. Stop crying and do something more impressive than what the guy just pulled off, maybe?

I would say quite a few including myself. Its ridiculous to hand someone 90billion in assets and not have the foresight to see that maybe it will cross their mind to steal the gear. How many times have we seen the victims of theft shouting "man we trusted him, we knew him for years". If you had 90million sitting in a bank account, would you give your bestest friend in the whole world your bank card and pin number?? Of course not and if you did you would be an idiot, so why do it in a game where there are no legal repercussions for theft. Moral of the story, don't put all your of eggs in one fools basket, if you need to contract tens of billions worth of stuff do it in small batches and wait till you get the first load back before you give them the next. Easy to say in hindsight I know, but these lessons should have been learned by now. You can only blame the thief a certain amount.

And 90billion isk is abit different to 90 million pounds. 90b in game money without anyone trusting you, and with no alliance wanting to touch you (+1 to Pure btw) is not the way I would want to play the game. He was someone with a very good reputation that had put alot of time and effort into the alliance. Through his weakness he actualy lost out. And whatever is said on Coad, Insrg is a well organised competent alliance. And blaming an alliance leader who has sweated blood for his alliance for delagating some of his huge responsability to a trusted man is short sighted. Even if you don't like Insurgency, people like Darth should be saluted. They add more to the game than most of us, myself included, ever will.

He just did it on a whim, and actually apologised for it(doesnt make it any better, but still). And yeah its just a game, where scamming is legal, so trust involves risk. Thats how it works. I personally wouldnt have trusted him with anything at all had i still been in insurgency, but just because its allowed by the rules doesnt mean its a good thing to abuse friendly relations with other people. Actually the only real difference between him and istvan/GHSC is a fictional story (which was an awsome read btw) and a some spin Snip, Signatures should be respectful and EVE related.
