The only way i can play eve prim. client is to have fresh download once the download is done and the question is ask launch eve online i cilk yes and the game loads and plays great no lag no problems.but let me log out and try to start the game from the desktop short cut, start menu, progam folder it WILL NOT LOAD OR START
i started playing this game 3 weeks ago and did not have these problems but now all the sudden if i what to play i got to do a new download and this is starting to bore me!!!!
mysystem plays other MMORG With noproblems.
but here are the specs of it anyway
AMD64 ATHLON3500+ 2.20 GHZ
EVGA 7800GT OVERCLOCKED
200 GB HARDDRIVE
1024MB DDR MEMORY
SYSTEM HAS PLENTY OF HARDDRIVE AND MEMORY OPEN
I USE THE FASTEST DLS THAT AT@T OFFERS
ALL MY DRIVERS ARE UP TO DATE
PLZ HELP I LOVE THIS GAME BUT IM GETTING TIRED OF WATEING ON DOWN LOADS

caps lock is bad ^^
besides, what error message do you get? maybe you got a worm/virus on your system.
Eve has a selftest, that might be the reason it wont launch another time *shrugs*

Also I've noticed sometimes Eve hangs when you exit and then it won't run again 'till you reboot or manually kill the process (via the task manager, ctrl-alt-del).
If all else fails, go back to the classic client.
Also submit bug reports if you can.

srry about the caps
i try to launch eve it goes to the splash screen and then nothing more no error messages no nothing iam have the sameproblem with eve basic client i am not able to log in the game at all

help me plz im a noob with comp. sys so i dont know all this cache clearing stuff and ip confstuff help plz
or im just going to give up and shut my acct down and after only 3 weeks that would be sad

any help at all would be great ive changed port# ive did the trcert it came back with ping no higher than 104ms
i just dont know what to do!!!
ive try to download the evemon fix tool but i cant must a bad add.
help plz someone

Try checking if there is still an EVE process running. You can do that by taking the following steps:
Hold ctrl+alt+del
Select "Task Manager"
Go to the "processes" tab
Look for "Exefile.exe"
If you find any, highlight them and select "end process"
Re-try running EVE
