There're rigs for capa,
rigs for velocity,
rigs for scan resolution and lock range,
But no rigs for sensor strength, why not?
We can see a lot of ecm boat actually and ecm drone, i pilot a absolution, for example, this ship is so easy to jam (difficult to put 1 eccm, just 3 med slot), why not have rigs to boost sensor strength? i will need to sacrifice my tank for that (no rigs armor).
Rigs for sensor strength = 45%, bad idea?

Maybe not 45%. But i like it. Maybe like a 30% boost per rig with stacking penalites and appropriate drawback.

Wasting an entire rig slot to increase your sensor strength would only be worthwhile if it was something like a 100% increase per rig. But as for the idea? Yeah, it's a great one. CCP needs to add these to the game.

Rig slots are on average half as usefull as a fitting slot, with appropriate drawbacks. Therefore I think a 40% increase in sensor strength with a 10% decrease of cpu capabilities would be a good trade-off |

+ 50% sensor strength, -10% base shield, to be modified by skills

Good suggestion, the question is, does it need a drawback? If it was to be fit on a pvp ship, a CPU penalty would be devastating and render it useless on many ships, same can be said about the shield drawback. What about no drawback? Like CCC and ACR atm.

Well it depends on the category you want to put it in - electronic superiority rigs all have the shield penalty so it would make sense.

Can be a very good idea.
Fight where you are jammed 100% of the time are simply boring like hell. And now you have falcon cloaked everywhere (gratz CCP to have boosted it). |

I agree this would be a helpful addition to the game. Assuming these rigs don't end up costing like 55 mil a piece. I could only see myself fitting them if they were <= ~10mil or so. Then again, I fly a lot of garbage that has high sensor strength (recons) and silly "extra" midslot for eccm.
edit: the shield drawback would probably be quite acceptable, since the rig would be by and large a pvp module and the bulk of pvp ships wouldn't be passively shield tanked anyways. |

If it was a low as like 50% wouldnt it be better to fit one of the backup arrays bottom and use an armor rig?
Still, it can't really 'hurt' to have some rubbish rig thrown into the game.

I think a 80/100% don't be "too much" when i see the lot of jam boat in pvp gang. And at least, people who fit this kind of rig don't going to fit polycarbon rig :D

When you see a gang with 2/3 falcon + bc with all ecm drone, difficult to counter that (oki you need to have ecm boat too + ecm drone) nice pvp horizon...
Eccm rigs is a must actually.
