ok first off i when trough the basic topic here in the sticky found none recent. went to use eve search found notting. and battleclinic onfusses the hell out of me.
It is simple i need a sniper rokh.
allready have a full set of tech 2 425mm rails with spike and 3 mag stabs. (lol life AWU5)
so i need mids lows and rigs. to maintain max range and than dps and than tank.
and please no tech 2 rigs or faction stuff that is to much for a pvp ship. (yes i have one ready with a blaster fit to but those fittings are easy to be found wierd enough) ----- in vicis of bellum lex cado silens I respect forum mods so I aid them |

Feel free to slap on whatever cheap rigs you come by, such as resist rigs or whatever. Hybrid drigs tends to make the fit to hard, other rigs tend to be nothing but a waste of isk. Extenders work fine, but another 30-40m isk will almost double the cost of replacing the entire ship. In the end, you're better of getting a new ship out to the fight than surviving fire for 5 more BS's to get their locks on.

Edited by: Stuart Price on 03/06/2008 02:08:52 If you can afford it, using faction Iridium and swapping the tracking scripts for range scripts in the tracking comps gives you pretty much the same dps, on optimal of around 170km (shorter than spike but still more than enough) but TRIPLES your tracking.
Also, you forgot the sensor booster "I got soul but I'm not a soldier" |

for the drone bay id suggest either 5 med ecm drones or 5 light ecm and 5 warrior, u can fiddle around with shield repper dornes etc, but i find light rep drones a bit of a joke..

This fits with a 3% engineering skill bonus implant (slot 6) and there's not many other things in slot 6 that are all that great for Caldari.
Lows: 2x T2 Tracking Enhancer, 1x T2 Reactor Control Unit, 2x T2 Magnetic Field Stabilizer
Mids: 2x T2 Sensor Booster (Range Script), 1x T2 Invulnerability Field, 1x T2 Large Shield Extender, 1x Caldari Navy Magnetic Scattering Amplifier, 1x Caldari Navy Heat Dissipation Amplifier
Highs: 8x T2 425mm railgun w/ Caldari Navy Iridium charges
Rigs: 2x Hybrid Locus Coordinator 1x Hybrid Collision Accelerator
According to EFT, this'll run about 12 1/2 minutes (or forever with the invuln field off), which is more than long enough for most fights. Range is 219+30 falloff, so you can't quite nail them at 249 reliably but there aren't really any other ships that can hit at 234 reliably, either, so you shouldn't have any issues. This is the best dps I've been able to get and still maintain a 215km+ range. ...in bed. |

For some reason, almost nobody tries to use 350s with Spike on a Rokh, which I find odd because you get wonderful range, similar damage compared to 425s, the tracking hit isn't quite as horrible (but still pretty bad) and it's a whole lot easier to fit. -------------------- "I am hard pressed on my right; my centre is giving way; situation excellent; I am attacking." - Ferdinand Foch at the Battle of the Marne |

Medium armor repper will only save you from something small, which you won't be able to outrun in a rokh, so I dropped the MWD and the medium repper. I'd rather warp away than try and outrun something in a rokh, anyway, as slow as it is. This has 224 optimal with 30 fall off, cap will be a problem after 6 1/2 minutes if you don't use rigs.
Fits with AWU5 (Which I have) and a 3% engineering implant (which I also use):
Highs: 8x T2 425mms w/L spike
Mids: 2x T2 Sensor booster (1 with range, 1 with no script), 2x caldari resist amps (kin/em since those are the most likely sniping damages), 1x T2 LSE, 1x T2 invuln field
Lows: 3x T2 Mag stabs, 1x T2 tracking enhancer, 1x T2 Damage Control
No rigs, 338 dps, if you trust EFT that far. It is pretty accurate with it's fitting, though. ...in bed. |

Do these stack with Tracking Computers etc? It sounds like they should, but I seem to recall people saying that they didn't. But I also seem to recall people saying that EA changed them, so they do stack with TCs now after all...
Edit - I mean Locus and Metastasis (optimal and tracking) rigs, stacking with the tracking and optimal effects of TCs and TEs.

Locus rigs for some reason do NOT stack with mods. Infact 3 range mods (tracking enhancers/computers) with 3 locus rigs on a Rokh lets you hit out to over 90km with antimatter in 425's.

If you want (assuming level V - obviously your mileage may vary)....
369 dps
160+30km optimal + falloff.
Cap Stable
>80,000 effective hitpoints.
47 Sensor Strength.
3x Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Power Diagnostic Unit II Damage Control Unit II
Sensor Booster II (range) Tracking Computer II (range) Cap Recharger II ECCM Gravimetric II (best named is better for cap stability if you switch ammo) 2x Invulnerability Field II
8x 425mm Railgun II
Ancillary Current Router 2x Hybrid Locus Coordinator
ECM/logistics drones
If you can tolerate firing halfway into falloff swap in Thorium to hit at 141+30 and get 415 DPS.
I like this setup because you get a decent buffer, substantial ECM resistance, cap stability, and fleet ranges with Navy Lead/Thorium.
If you have isk burning a hole in your pockets - try the faction 425's - substantial fitting savings - you can get some sick fits.

10 second align times. Greatly improves molbility even if you never leave the system. also, by going through one low-sec or null sec gate you're roaming at that point. MWD is a mandatory module for these kind of ships....all of them.
