TCF is a French's speaker alliance created 2 years or so ago. Their primary goal was to gather all french's speaker in Eve to create a new powerful alliance and sit down in 0.0.
All their stories until now can be found on this board or others, i'll not talk about it.
I'll just try to explain how this "small" ally keep their troops up and how the leadership lie to their own members.
Hierarchy
TCF is lead by a couple of men called the council. Each corporation have One or Two guy in the council and they are supposed to have the same "vote power" in critical descision.
In fact, only two or three of them have descision power and others are just here to listen and do.
Recently they fired their tactical director Amerame. He was the one who coordinate fleets, actions between RSF and TCF.
(Why they did this is not the topic of this subject.)
How to manage troops:
During a war you have two options :
- Tell the true to your guys
- Don't tell the true to your guys
Both of them have advantages and drawback.
TCF's leadership used to lie of course. Everyone know this. To lie or not to tell what's happen is the same thing for me you know, and by this action A major TCF corp leaves. It was LDLQ (now in goon).
Of what I readed on officer tcf forum part, it's because they were never informe of what TCF did. This come also because of their USA time yeah, but not completely.
TCF used to tell his members : we are the best one, our enemi are only few and weak. Be ready to fight !
When they lose a fight it's always because of the (pick the right answer)
- lag ; ccp server ; enemi use illegal ways to succed ; bad intel ; spyed (yes you are, and so what?) ; bob's BBQ since 2006 ; hostil take our leader primary, damn we're loss ! -
And never :
- ok ok they were better than us. (this phrase told me something..) -
- Ok we try and we fail because they were too much -
- gf anyway it was fun -.
So this way lead to make TCF hold lines in Tribute during 2 months, while TCF was clearly not enough skilled to succed. It's a good management...for a SHORT time !
Nowodays this kind of leadership aims to do this :
- TCF loves their friends (except RA, yes indeed.)
- TCF hates Bob, bob member, friends of bob member, friend of friend of bob member, mother of bob member, bob's annual bbq. Any red in eve, any neutral who killed them.
Any ppl killing them is a bad guys you know?, the kind of guy who can shot a baby in the street because he won't give his lollipop, you see? Yeah it's what the basic private in TCF think. (and what the leadership wants).

Yeah that's is TCF.
it's why nowodays someone becoming red for tcf and tell them " hey guys you are not the best one in eve", have poor chance to go (back) in TCF.
Why?
Why TCF leadership always told his member: we are the best, we can win everything, we are the good boys?
All member who leaved TCF (except joshua) find this ally suffering of a big feeling of sikness.
I'll not explain all internal quarrels there is between corp and corp's member.
Today TCF is failling because of this management, and all tcf director know why. And let it go, why?
Just take a look on their forum : Censure is on every post. TCF member are forbidden to post in Any eve's political forum (Monde persistants, jeux online, here, ... ). Are you scared your member becomes aware of the situation?
To finish, i'll just say this : Last 3 months cap kill in TCF kb was done mainly by Goon with only few tcf putting a gun on it. Everyone can check this.
What about your futur guys?

Frederik did a great job leading TCF where they are now, I can't tell anything about that.
TCF do great job managing huge region.
TCF have many titan and some rich corporation.
TCF have ... what else? ho yeah a very good disinformation center.
Regarding my position :
I have been fired of TCF for rob issue.
I don't regret that.
I don't want to come back to TCF.
I still have plenty of friends there.
I feel good when kicking tcf's ass.

LDLQ is actually made up of mostly Montreal/French Canadian players who joined us because we're more active in their timezone.
TCF are our brosefs and have an uncanny ability to show up when least expected to siege some hostile system all of a sudden and go " Hey Goons, guess what we did!".
That's how we managed to take 1v- from LV so quickly.

From a guy who never respected anything in its previous alliance, kept denigrating other corps, and did nothing for its alliance in general, what to expect ?
From a guy who, when offered some fun Pvp, prefered to carebear in its Vargur doing Lvl4 missions to sell Machariel bpc what to expect ?
You fail at being a decent alliance mate, a decent corpmate and in fact, being a decent guy to begin with.

Woot 1st page in a TCF thread!!
Seriously though, TCF are a good bunch.. fight hard and fight clean and in fact were one of the first ones to give the North something serious to think about. Really REALLY helpful when me and a couple of others tried something different which didnt quite work out but hey, they pushed the boat out large to accomodate us (Amerame and monsieur le fantome! my old buddy from MA).
Forum targeting what are fairly powerful alliances is soooo last year and the only real sucesses i can think of are BoB, and the goons. the rest are just highlighting their complete lack of danglies in rather bitter attempts to damage alliances/corps through alts in what are already conceded as pretty crap forums.
Anyway, back to thinking bad thoughts about insur...hmm best not mention the name or this thread will get SoOOoooo derailed :p

TCF are a good crowd. I really liked the FTZ. Last year i put my own corp into it. I was given access to 0.0 and granted other privleges as i knew my place. Though it was funny Outbreak running us flock of newbs around the block lol.
