Simple, But Useful. If we could get our personal hangers seperated into folders like the corp hanger, it would make it a lot easier to find what we need, and possibly even use each different folder to host different set ups instead of having saved set ups, that way you dont run the risk of "Module Not Found" or "Weapon Not Found" Etc. _____________________________________________________ Life Is Only 9 Months Long, Everything After That Is Death. |

Don't know why no one else has responded to this yet, it's a fantastic idea, I was thinking about it myself the other day and ended up sorting things in containers but that only works so well, and is expensive and irritating and seems unecessary. I also think they should start considering charging small amounts for hangar space to make it a bit more realistic, I thought they were going to implement that from launch but I never saw it. A nominal fee would be cool.

Yeah, this though has been wandering inside my head for some time as well. Gimme Gimme Gimme.
Also another view, as in windows explorer would be nice. So you can see attributes or damage percentage or something.

Ship setups are best stored in containers in your hangar, just name the container apropriately ex. "apoc mining setup", "phoon mission setup", "ferrox PvP setup".
Being an old player I have more loot than I can easilly keep track of, I have also moved about quite a bit and in each place I spend any considerable time I tend to acumilate ships, loot and junk.
The larger containers was a real blessing for me, usually when I move into a new area now I get my hands on a few containers as soon as possible and name them acording to what they are to be used for.
After a few weeks acumilation my hangars are thus still overseeable as I know where everything should be.
At the moment I have 5-6 stations with 5+ containers with good stuff (I clean out my abandoned stations fairly often) as well as 10-12 cargo/ammo dumps out in 0.0 (not sure if all are still out there but...) if I wish to go there and not risk going close by 0.0 stations.
Containers, one of the best things to hit the game.

even having 7 for corps and perhaps 3 divisable hanger space for indiviudal players.
I think a rental fee should be applied to anchored cans that have been in space for more than 30 days though - this might reduce the pollution in certain areas with unused cans.
And be another ISK sink

I wouldnt mind having 3 hangars in stations, would be possible to get ever better order however, my cargodump sites are all in 0.0 space so I doubt anyone could ever come upp with a good reason for me having to pay rent for them :)
As for containers in empire space...
My personal view is that high sec (0.8-1.0) should be anchorable but at each DT all cans should be moved to the closest station and the owner fined. In mid sec (0.5-0.7) space the player should be fined but the cans should be left in place and below that you should be able to anchor as much as you want.
If enough cans get anchored in a system in low sec space simply send mails to all the owners telling them they have say 1 month to collect them after wich they are simply removed.

players should be charged for hangar space depending how much m3 they use.

Eeeek!
Fester would have to sit next to the superhighways and beg for alms... I use more space than I care to think about in those stations I have as important ones :)
