When you are primary you usually dont want to have t2 rigs and officer/deadspace fitting.

edit: didn't see your injector.
edit 2: suggestion: [Sleipnir, New Setup 1]
Damage Control II
X-Large Shield Booster II Shield Boost Amplifier II Invulnerability Field II Invulnerability Field II Medium Capacitor Booster II, Cap Booster 800
tanks 700 something DPS for as long as you have cap injectors, 1000 DPS (one gank BS) if people give you remote cap transfers.

I have perfect fitting skills, so im not sure if all of these setups are useable by everyone.
Cookie Cutter, Damage Focussed. 7x 220MM II's, Corpum A-Type Nos 10mn MWD II, WD II, Invuln II, C-5L X-L Booster, Med Electrochem Cap booster 3x Gyro II, 2x Nano II
2x Aux Thrusters
This setup is fairly cheap - it would go faster with Poly's and OD's, but costs alot more and holds less cap charges. -------

Edited by: Maeltstome on 05/06/2008 17:43:46 T2 Nano 7x 220 II's, Arby HML 10mn MWD II, Invuln II, WD II, X-L SB II, Med electrochem cap booster 3x OD II, 2x Nano II
Polycarbon, Projectile ambit
roughly 3k/s - other than the poly it's not that expensive.
EDIT* Just EFT warriored a republic fleet nano setup, only adds about 200m/s. Just buy some snakes rather than a faction MWD. -------

This. The shield boost bonus is sub optimal for PvP. Two LSE II, DCU II, maybe a hardener, but a disruptor and webifier, faction if you can afford it, are better choices.

Not a flame but I completely agree with Furb on this. Your sweet fittings and rigs might not give you any more lasting power then T2.....unless you have a good falcon pilot or two handy in gang.
My humble opinion.

i'm going to go for either the cerberus or the Sleipnir when i can back into eve, so i'm wondering:
1) is this ship only for pvp or do it work for pve to? because i want it to be able to do both(even thos i got more effective ships for missions)
2) is it like flying a big rifter or maybe a very big stabber? because thats the feling i'm looking for but if it dont work for pve to i think i go for the cerb first... Playing minmatar is "like going down a flight of stairs in a office chair firing an Uzi". |

lol yes its an expensive, unpractical waste of isk and in no way of any use, wheres your head at? the cost of some of those modules is just silly. You obviously do not pvp do you?

Actually I have all the mods and I only pvp, a decent PVP'r should say that ain't much isk. I'v tried a lot of setups this 1 works like a extreme rep machine wich works perfect for me. I'm not main damage dealer and this setup cost is just around a 1 / 1.5B(assuming you already have LG Crystal set); 400mil Pith A type, 300mil cn invuln 170mil kaikka's shield amp (cheap!) 17mil cap booster, 3x 40mil True Sansha, 120mil Domination WD etc. A decent pvp'r could easily afford that, and the Tech II rigs are 70mil a piece.

You realise that all that crap you spouted about a decent pvper being able to throw away 1.5bn isk on a lousy command ship just made you look like an arrogant **** and probably jujst killed this sleipnir thread stone dead?

You need roughly 150-200 kills for this to pay itself off. Now, the likelyhood of a commandship (and one popular as a high-damage dealer and therefore on top of the primary list) with a, what, 800ish DPS tank surviving more then 5 fights vs competent gangs is very low.
I mean, people use 750-ish DPS tank bait drakes, and they tend to not survive if their gang isn't on top of you right away.
