Ok I know they d nothing for the game but... According to the latest patch notes NPCs will stop dropping ship logs.
I don't understand, do they cause that much lag?
I kinda liked the ship logs, they added a little extra to the game. Maybe instead of removing them replace them with meaningful logs that lead you to systems where you could find sites, or something?
Oh well I guess the database must be getting cluttered or something. what do you guys think about ship logs?

I thought thats what ship logs were for, to help thoughs who dont know anybetter to locate deadspace complexes, I followed a ships log and found one, was sucky lvl 1 but still I found one, lol.. Map is best for finding deadspace complexes though. Q: What do you do with coded ship logs?? got one that points to what looks like 0.0 space.

I just refine them, aparently at one point a long time ago they were (in theory) usefull but changes in the game since made them obsolete.
Frankly it would be nice if they revamped the loot tables.

That's because PCs will start dropping ship logs. Where they've traveled in the past week, who they've talked to, their average wallet balance, and the ships they have flown, etc.

Ship logs shouldnt be removed they added to the game. The more I read about this expansion the more I dislike it. By far the worst expansion CCP have done if you can even call it an expansion itĘs that small.

Pottsey, I've known you since our EnB days, but I just don't understand you anymore. Ship logs have been useless for almost 3 years, save as a source of Nocx. I don't know what you could think they added to the game other than confusing new players.
Had CCP given them some new use, I'd agree. But they're just a leftover relic of times past.

All ship logs did for me was muck up my hangars.

Have you just bought this character? The Pottsey of old would never have made such assinine comments.
Ship logs have been useless for several years now. Most of the sites they refer to have gone or no-longer have any NPCs.
Even if you aren't going to take part in FW you cannot possibly complain that this next patch is small and barely worthy of the name.
Get a grip, please. You used to be cool and knowledgeable.
