It was thrown by a girl I know, and cos she didn't have a lot of money it was at a club in a rough area. Unfortunately this attracted vauxhall nova's filled to the brim with chavs. Now im from the north west of England, and around here they like to participate in a form of rapping called "mc'in", basically a drivel of words. Anyways, all these chavs and there was tension, "oi lets tw4t them lot cos they're like yeh mate", there was a big fight where a guy was hitting somebody shouting BANG BANG as he did it... and the night was conculded by the arrival of riot police and arrests. Really makes me wonder what Britain is becoming, a sea full of airmax wearing vodka swilling idiots. Just thought I would have a rant about them...

Every time an innocent person is beaten, stabbed or mugged by a gang of those sub-human things the news reports on it and the British people get a little bit more angry and a little less willing to continue living in this liberals paradise that the scum in Downing street have unfortunately created. I read a few weeks ago that the police, who had previously been restrained by political correctess to the point that it rendered them completely ineffective, have been given new powers to break up gangs. Hopefully that's only the tip of the iceburg.

At first their kids brought their gangs around our neighbourhood to terrorise the law-abiding citizens who just want to lvie their lives in peace. Once us real people stood up for ourselves and got the police involved the chavs have been very obediant. Had we tried your tactic of giving them hugs they would still be speeding in their ****ty cars and throwing stones at peoples property. EDIT: if you have managed to get to the bottom of this post then you obviously have a much longer attention span than the average Labour-loving, chav-hugging idiot. Congratulations!

Either have them all shot and killed. Or stop giving them benefits so they don't spend it all on drugs and booze. I find it funny that they act like ''oh ye were hard, don't mess with us because theres 483694064 of us and we all have knives'', there bloody pathetic. Chavs are just scum, just a bunch of rats. This would make a great sport, let loads of chavs lose somewhere, we all get guns and have to hunt them

Honestly we are having a serious problem with our culture, where it is completely normal for the working class to impregnate their girlfriend to get a free house and where rioting is not punished because the police don't want to be brutal. The education system, while not nearly perfect, is excellent and hard work can raise work class individuals to become millionaires. It just requires initiative, which is no longer needed as the government gives them plenty of incentives to stay poor and dependent. Now government benefits were in placed (quite rightly) to protect the proletariat from the middle class business owners who were only interested in profit instead of people, but the system is too easily exploitable. Instead of it being "oh if I get laid off this week, the government will feed my family til I get a new job" it has become "oh yay I don't have to work at all!" I hate the class system anyway.

Blame family breakdown, lack of adequate supervision and a collective ennui when it comes to all social issues, with a tendency to expect authority figures to take care of every little thing. Lack of personal responsibility starts in the home. It doesn't matter if you live in a fascist state or a completely permissive one, parents have given up and that is the root issue that needs to be dealt with. Blaming your 'liberal' government is a stupid and lazy cop-out. Take some personal responsibility for issues close to hand. Stop expecting government to solve every single little problem.

ILikeTastyPie Digital assassins	Posted - 2008.06.07 12:54:00 - [22] Well last night there was a few hundred chavs, me and my mates only stayed cos we wanted to see the blood bath and the end and laugh when they got arrested. Most of them are on steroids, and there was a little ginger man that swung his arms massively when he walked and shouted at everybody, threatening to beat up a woman...was quite funny. The police didn't have time for them, arrested quite a few which was funny. A few years back though, when I was younger, me and my mates did used to hang around on the streets, because basically there was nowhere else to go. We got to that age of drinking, but we never really caused much trouble, the police just confiscated our booze. It is quite easy to point the finger though. Around all the towns with a clublife in Britain there will of been hundreds of fights, a lot of them won't of been chavs, well dressed educated people, I suppose its just our culture. However you want to hide it or deny it, the simple fact is that when you have a lot of young (18-25) people out there will be fighting. It's just they keep it in the town, not on the streets. Thing with these chavs are that their idea of a good night is buying vodka, getting very drunk and then having a fight with their best mate, and next day claim that it was a "sick night". I dno what should be done about it cos..I just avoid that sorta stuff really. But meh.

Im just north of london, so we get their overspill.. not much different to ur story really except that they may throw a knife in there or change 'mate' to 'blud' etc.

This is an oversimplification, but here's what it comes down to: If a large group of people who are very far down on the economic ladder live within a certain proximity of people who are high up on the economic ladder, it create a large amount of tension and discontent because of the overt disparity between the two groups. What generally happens is that the poorer group develops its own cultural identity where status is based on something that is relatively unaffected by how rich/poor one is. Usually this ends up being physical strength, willingness to commit certain dangerous/illegal acts, or posturing.
