Due to loss of vision, a *****ing hangover and general 'tardness I today paid 29M Isk for a Photon Scattering Shield.
So well done FireEhot II, you got me.
Remember kids. Don't buy stuff when you're head isn't clear. Check check and triple check the price before you buy it. 
My first months work down the drain 
Anybody been more stupid than that.

My unit of trit for 21 mill was cheap then.
I got a 12mill refund though so it was a snap at 9 mill in the end

I've been 'just' as stupid - a couple of months back I was playing in what can only be described as a slightly 'Bacchic' mode, and I found, after having made an all too quick purchase of 300 heavy missiles on the market, that my wallet had been emptied out of 5 mill isk.
I was greatly perturbed at the time; but in retrospect, I find my folly quite amusing.

I've done that in the newbie class of buying a shuttle at 99.000 or something instead of 9.900. Anyways, Ive started putting my money in the back. Transfering them to an alt toon works :)
Never put all your eggs in one basket. Or ISK.

yep the shuttle one is the most common, one of your corp noobs bought one for 6 million isk.... and another player almost bought one for 10 million isk, but he didn't have enough money in his wallet.

I recently put a buy order for a Stabber at 3,2 mills wasn't in a hurry to get it and wanted bottom ISK for it, someone screwed up a sale order and I got it at 409,00.99 ISK, felt almost sorry for the guy...

5th day after Eve went live. I "quick sold" a load of Megacyte. Wasn't paying attention and only received 496 per unit.
Marketing griefing existed even then, gotta love it. Still remember the name of the person.
Rather educational though. I've never made that mistake.... ever.

One thing I am very good at is to run a 12 jumps mission in a frigate then notice just before docking that I have put the stuff in the cruiser because of the cargo size and forgot to switch ships.

one time i was destroyed by a player, i managed to escape with my pod, get a ibis quickly and take my stuff back! I was happy to only lose a few ammo and keep all my named-rare item! So i get to the closest merlin i could buy about 12 jump, i dock, assemble the merlin, activate it, then trash my old ibis... with all my stuff in it. 
I hit myself on the desk for 15 minutes...
