Helloo,
Right here is the low down. I don't usually go near POS warfare as its not usually my thing but some carebear corp has annoyed another carebear corp waved a bunch of ISK in my face so in enters me. Here is the stats of the POS.
Guristas Medium Tower;
3x EM Dampening Array
3x EXPL Dampening Array
2x KIN Dampening Array
1x THERM Dampening Array
THERE ARE NO OFFENSIVE MODS NOT GUNS NOR EW 
1) So if we got 15 mixed BS mainly Ravens though how long will it take ?
2) How much would it cost ?
3) There are also a number of labs I would like to get my hands on, since we cant deploy bubbles is there anyway to stop them or there alts from from unanchoring the labs flying back to the station ?
I cant think of any other problems atm apart from the fact that I think the Corp being attacked may well hire a merc corp or something but by the time they do that im hoping it will be in reinforced mode. By then I hope to have that minor detail countered.

if it goes into reinforced, then they can't strip any structures or add any
I would put my guess at 2 hours.

I don't know how long it will take to down the POS but it will take a good while. They have set it up to be a complete turn off for those that look to pop it.
Basically try to avoid doing EM damage and just keep hitting. As far as stopping them from taking the labs, well as bubbles cant be used theres nothing you can do about that really. What I would suggest is finding out who is their leadership and try to hit the POS when theyre offline, as I doubt they have given access to offline and unanchor the pos to many people.
Good luck, nothing better than when a pos goes into reinforced and later boom

Medium faction tower is going to take a while to drop with just battleships unless you're smart about it. Those hardeners, are they ALL online? If so its going to take a lot longer than 2 hours to drop it into reinforced. Double the amount of bs's, fit them for max dps, fill their holds with sentry drones and read a good book.
The only real cost involved would be buying and fitting the ships. If they're going to counter-attack, which seems unlikely from what you've posted, then you've got nothing to worry about.
The only way to stop them from unanchoring their labs and flying them away is to have a team of dedicated tacklers, intys, frigs, whatever, with points and webs a-plenty, to catch them as they warp TO the POS from stations, stargates, wherever. In other words, its damn hard.

Read carefully and you'll see I made a point of saying its damn hard. Not impossible mind you, but I do believe it was implied that one shouldn't bother

I would think Armageddons >> Ravens in a situation like this.
They have enough drone bay to fit 5 sentries and you can set up a cap-stable setup to take down a POS when you're afk. It will take a few hours though.

this. an geddon with T1 tachs and as many damage mods you can fit on it while still perma run the thing as you fill the rest of the slots with cap recharge. fit 5 sent drones and go afk. if you insure it you lose max 10 mil if it is killed...

4 hours
cost war fee + 4 hours of ammo (which is why people use lasers) + ****ed off crew (for having to sit there shooting at a pos for 4 hours)
Remember to have someone camp the POS because if they has a shield reppers in the corp they can bring it back up before the 24 hours are out plus put more fuel in just for you.

Just pound it - assuming it's a large faction POS you're looking at roughly 10 hours of pounding it with the 15 torp ravens. Maybe less - fit for max DPS since if you don't expect to have them try to kill you.

Best way is to infultrate with an alt or two, offline everything and scoop it up. Might as well lighten the corp wallet while your at it.
Hmm, with those hardeners 4 hours with 15 torp raves seems low and 10 hours seems kind of high. My guess is somewhere in between. Wish there was a calculator for us lazy people.
I woudent try to take down a med. tower with less then 10 bs. The shield regen will probably drive you crazy.

Once a war has been declared I would suspect the labs would be taken offline and hardners would be put online. When I had a research pos in my carebearish days I had hardners and some crappy guns on it and they were never onlined, just had them waitin for a day when they would be needed.

What you will find is one of 2 things:
1) You wardec and come back to find all the resistance mods online, plus a bunch of small guns (which can actually hurt BSs and don't take much power)
2) You wardec and come back to find the whole thing packed up and stored in their corp hanger to be brought back out another day.
We normally do the later, just so we don't have to worry about the POS when we are fighting.....

I got wind of a POS being taken down, so I went and had a look today. It was coming out of the reinforcement. It took 5-6 BS about an hour or so. It was a medium tower with no hardners and they had already took out the guns. Im not gonna do that job I mentioned futher up the page w/o 15 - 20 BS and yes I thought infiltration was the best idea too but the ahem .. customer just wanted it blowing up.

I don't know if it still works but people set the dec 2 mins before a 24 hour patch downtime so you will have no chance to do any of the above before the war starts.

A lone BC will break the shield regen, it's practically inexistent. The sheer amount of HP is staggering though.

When Revelations 2 released CCP stated it was an exploit to use a major patch to avoid the 24 hr pre-war timer.
