Here's a reference-
Livestock: four legs, woolly, non-sentient, eat grass, go "baa". Humans: two legs, clothed, opposable thumbs, sentient, able to speak.
Try not to get the two confused, Gaius. Though I suppose that if I had spent my entire life preaching to the faithful, I might have trouble telling men from sheep too...

Firstly your "Emperor" doesn't lead anything except the queue for the crematorium. Your living god, well he erm, sort of went and died in case you forgot. Your Empire is now led by a bunch of sycophantic lackeys and misanthropic zealots and fanatics. But let us not quibble over trivial details.
If it makes you feel any better I am quite happy banging the drums of war. I find it makes a nice counterbeat to the drums of oppression, bigotry, slavery and all other sorts of nasty inhumane actions that you and yours have been banging for years. Either get yourself a religious nutjob, sorry i meant priest, and beg your forgiveness against or let me grab a ship and I can arrange a more personal appointment for you with your dead joke of a god.

Edited by: Viqer Fell on 09/06/2008 13:34:17 I would suggest you keep up with the times and the news and you may also wish to identify yourself properly, pup.
Our intention to return from self imposed exile and life as mercenaries to fight the enemies of the Republic has already been announced as was our intention to de-merge this particular division from the interstellar TNT branding.
On a more personal note given I was likely murdering Amarrians for years before you even bought your first capsule and I feel I am more than eminently qualified to discuss matters with my old foes Gaius, Rodj and Ethidium.
Fighting for Isk doesn't make one stupid nor uninformed but posting without doing your research speaks volumes. Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until they speak. Thank you for re-affirming my faith in this statement.

Originally by: Daziel Iaar That sounds like a plee for mercy from a scared and desparate man. How will you ever find the courage to face his family when you've barely shown the coverage to face him in space. Then again terrorists always do go for the innocent rather than the responsible.
Iaar, you are an Amarrian, and thus you're struck with the curse of being fairly unintelligent, but given that you think you're in some sort of a defensible situation here indicates that you must either be clinically moronic or that you have a deficiency of perception resulting in only being able to see out of your rear end - which would, I imagine, mean you're seeing quite a lot of me, given that it's always you lot who seem to be running away. In the past three months, whenever I breezed through Amarrian territory with the Ushra'Khan, whenever I patrolled Heimatar with the Electus Matari, no matter how many of you there were, no matter if you outnumbered us two to one, you would never undock. Vigilia Valeria would never undock. You know what the worst thing that happened to me was?
Laerise.
Laerise continually demands that I surrender my ship and crew for execution, despite that fact that, unlike with a large number of your other corpmates, I have never, ever engaged Laerise when I outnumbered her less than five to one. She demands surrender from those numerically and tactically superior to her - which is a wonderful allegory for something else, can't think what exactly. Oh yeah, your empire.
So yes, Iaar, I'm coming after Rodj's family if he doesn't finally see a little bit of sense. Unlike him, they won't come back. -----

I have always been somewhat surprised by the claim that Mercenaries have low moral fibre, on no less than 5 separate occasions this year alone we offered our services on a pro-bono basis to small corporations who were struggling under war declarations from "griefer" corps but I guess the fact that we mostly get paid to employ our skills gives you some philosophical or moral concerns?
And as for killing Pro-Republicans, well in my time I guess I've probably killed pretty much every kind of pro and anti-ism that breathes. I'm sure I've killed pro-Republican, Federalist, Kittenist and Fedo-ist. Simply because I have killed Matari warriors in the past does not mean that I am unable to think without an Isk counterpoint.
I'll reiterate for the hard-of-reading though. Firstly we will be flying under the trappings of a new corporation as we enlist our support of the Matari Militia. We will therefore not be operating as a mercenary force in this matter. Secondly my history as a warrior fighting against the Amarrian races destructive and cancerous presence in the Universe is well documented and it is rather purile to suggest that I need to be paid to bear opinions in this regard.

You should read the news more often, they were relocated to another area. Our government ordered the fleet to the bleaklands originally so those supporting the fleet are not directly connected to the treachery as the government actully wanted us to help the fleet with its clean up. There is no tarnish on his record on Admiral Blake's record.
Maybe you should try and figure out why the minmatar government has lost contact with the Gallenteans rather than concerning yourself with our issues and leave the questions up to us.

You know very well why we are at war with Electus Matari and that it is not an unprovoked or illegal war. We even offered them multiple chances to decry and apologize for their direct acts of war against the Empire before deciding we had no option save war.
Calling it either illegal or unprovoked is an outright falsehood that attempts to turn black into white.

I think that if one were to compare the actions of Admiral Saracen and the 7th Fleet with those of Admiral Muritor and his self-styled Defiants, one would see one of the fundamental differences between the Empire and the Republic.

Both Heideran VII and Doriam II preached the Pax Amarr. This is still the current policy of the Empire, and by extension PIE Inc as shown by our actions in Pator last night.
And that, that is precisely the problem. Are you preaching the expanded Pax Amarria? You know, the chapters that explain how to fail to subdue a slave revolt, how to lose a civil war, how lose a half-dozen regions, how to have an entire fleet destroyed by a squadron of Jove warships, how to feel all mushy about your personal slaves and free them, and how to turn your back on tradition?
Heideran VII and Doriam II were pathetic worms who deserve to be remembered in the chronicles as abject failures. I will say no more, merely out of respect for their bloodline.
Maybe if the Empire went back to its roots, realized what made them superior, put their faith back in Lord God, stopped preaching liberal theology, grew a spine, and waged a good old war of genocide instead of worrying about slave-profits -- maybe then the other powers would remember why they once feared the Empire. |
