Does this skill effect all ECM modules i.e. non racial and racial jammers or does it only effect the ECM Burst module?

The skill "Projected Electronic Counter Measures" affects only one thing, the module "Remote ECM Burst I", a module only usable on motherships. ---

Ya sure about that? I've trained it to lvl 2. My racial and multispecs only jam for 18 seconds rather then 20 now.

the skill is meant to only affect the mothership remote ecm burst module afaik, if it affects other modules file a bugreport, dont think that is intended

I know they changed the description of the skill, but that's not what I'm seein in game. Seems that ccp is confused on this as well as a few other in game items.
Look at fof missiles. Some of the ccp staff seem to think they are supposed to work like real life fof systems that can tell the difference between friendly and hostile targets. Yet the responce you get if you petition fof's is that they work like dumb fire weapons, and just go after the nearest target.
Miscomunication among dev teams or bad programing? I dunno.

It seems to me that they changed the discription without changing the skill. I dunno if it affects remote ecm burst modules the way it says now, but the old description made it sound like it reduced the activation time on ecm modules, but left the jamming effect time at 20 seconds. That way you could overlap the jamming without wasting cycles on a double jam do to lag. A buffer so you could start a new cycle with the same module while it's effect was still active.
It never worked that way either.
