Members of RAWR have had a long-standing relationship with members of Celestial Apoc (and later Insurgency when it was formed by CELES). We were in another alliance together. We invited Insurgency to the North. We attempted to maintain good relations with these friends during the course of your war against the Branch alliances. I used to talk to darth, Shariona and even C4W3 fairly frequently. Always trying to find some common ground. Always trying to understand and work with Insurgency's position. This was not done out of any fear, mind you. It was down out of a genuine friendship some of us felt for darth and CELES. Through these talks and the internal intelligence we were able to gather, it eventually became clear that the situation and the relationship had become untenable. There were forces at work within and without Insurgency that would make sure we all came to blows and they succeeded grandly.
We would have been quite happy to have just has the low-intensity combat we all love. Insurgency were always a good fight. We had some pretty fun times after RAWR took the step of finally resetting Insurgency. Had there been a single shred of trust in Insurgency's intentions, things probably wouldn't have gone down the way they did. In fact, the whole campaign that ended them sort of came as a last second, off-the-cuff decision when a force was raised to prepare for one of darth's "big things happening this weekend boys...we will stike at the heart of our enemies" speeches. The problem was the people representing Insurgency didn't instill a great deal of trust in the people they were dealing with. In short, we all basically got tired of the lies, veiled threats, smack...you name it.
There are a great many Insurgency who fought and acquitted themselves well on the battlefield without having to resort to local and forum smack. Those have my respect and best wishes in their future endeavors. The rest? The ones who even now continue to smack and misrepresent the facts to soothe their egos? Well, everything that has happened to them is well-deserved. Good riddance.

I wish I'd tell you that I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I can't truthfully say that. Very often words came out first and both parties blew a lot of steam on that. But well, we like it or not, drama is part of the game.
It was kind of predictable.

Not at all, mostly I just paid attention to IG actions. Can I be honest and say that bringing the amount of forces you guys did, it doesn't create this aura of love. More, I want to kick your face in hard and often until you cry mummy and run home
If you are really honest, then i think you are a sad little man, i can start putting up quotes on how your awesome leaders would crush us and all, but i'm not going to do that, because i don't see that as appropriate.
