It would keep ppl happy while they are having connection problems or waiting for hours while entering game as ....
There are alot of ppl like sci-fi/ space games ,what is wrong with another option at market?

CCP already have this in EvE, it's called agent missions - OH YEAH - I WENT THERE.

SOASE is epic, but I disagree with X3 bringing PC's down to their knee's - as long as its patched up it can run smooth on the 6000 series.

There is a EnB single player emulator project as a download on the web, it's being rebuild by fan's and seems to be pretty far in aplha developmentstage. The emulator isn't fully functional yet, but it looks like it's comming together.
