We captured no capital, we just assaulted a planet within the same starsyatem as a capital. There is a distinct difference, Mr. Caesar. As for your tribal leaders, I must say good show! It was by their lead that we managed to slip into Luminaire when CONCORD was disabled. It is you I have to thank before President Foiritan and the insolent Federation admiralty...

No, you only ousted all Federal Navy defenders and threatened to bombard Gallante Prime; close enough.

So you're saying the Caldari Navy is so weak it couldn't fight it's way through scatered Federal Defenders and a relatively small amount of non-capital DED ships? |

Originally by: Andre Ricard I have to wonder where in the name of all the Gods put together the Naval rapid response wing was during all of this, and why on earth there aren't greater orbital defenses around Gallente Prime.
As a result, we now have a Caldari titan sitting in Luminaire, and its escorts are blasting apart anyone who draws close.
I guess the Rapid Strike Task Force aren't what they used to be.

It strikes me that Heth has performed a vast tactical mistake. In this time of war not only has he commited troops to an area that is practicaly impossible to reinforce with the fleets now back in place and the cynojammer back online. This means that a significant portion of the Navy is for lack of a better word trapped around a world that is currently being evacuated of all Gallente citizens. Now imagine for a moment the effect that a few Titan class doomsday strikes in close orbit around a no longer occupied world that is not part of Gallente space.
It would be such a shame to lose Caldari Prime so soon after you've got it back hmmm? |

It's guff like this which means, try as I might, I can't find more of a reason to kill a Caldari than I can to kill a Gallente. What surprises me more is that you're Intaki, and you know exactly what it's like to be sidelined by the Federation.
How long before the Federation sees fit to bomb your homeworld for daring to want to prosper in your own right hmmm?
Nihilistic cretin.

President Foiritan is a fool and totally incompetent and the admirality likewise for not fortifying the main route from State to Federation.
Giving up Caldari Prime was bad enough, but ordering the whole Federation Navy to cease all hostilities borders treason. Even Tibus and his goons would have been unable to siege Luminaire and defend their home territory. A few strike Fleets send into State territory would have teached Tibus and his followers a lesson.
But this chance has Foiritan also given up. Marie Trudeau is right, his head should roll and also the heads of the Admirals who were responsible for defending Luminaire. |

Tell that to the billions of lives on Gallente Prime who all breathed a sigh of relief when the Caldari fleet didn't haul into orbit and turn the whole world into a smooth glass marble. |

Actually Makkar you misunderstand my words though this may be in part due to the way I phrased it. The fact however remain that the Navy is cut off and without easy support and some of the current undertones running through the Federation at the moment are that of a petulent spoiled brat. As far as I'm concerned it was a mistake for the Caldari nation to break from the Federation but ultimatly it was their choice.
Caldari Prime is just a rock to me. You must admit however that it is a prime target for a strike against the moral of the Caldari people.
I truly feel no compultion either and so I remain in Matari space helping combat slaver invasions.

What is more horrible to die in freedom or live in tyranny?
President don`t believe anymore in value of our freedom.
I consulted moralists to learn how to appear, philosophers to find out what to think and novelists to see what I could get away with and in the end it all came down to one principle:win or die. |

If we are to perform the same mistakes Caldari do, then we might as well declare defeated.

They stole a planet, Mith.
I think the Federation should seize and auction off every single asset a Caldari megacorp owns in our space. Every ISK that we make should go to the war.
And that's still a lot better than that bastard Heth has been to us.

Caldari expatriates as long as they don't actively try to harm the Federation, are to be protected and not harassed by any Federation citizen, who holds any pride in being a Federation citizen. |

Hey, I'm not against expats. But those megacorps put Heth in charge and he invaded us. You really don't think those megacorps should pay for that?

I do think they should pay. Because they are acting without any consideration of the lives of Caldari citizens.
But while doing so we must avoid unnecessary damage to the simple people, the workers and whatnot of the State. Whose primary concern is to receive their paycheck and manage to provide a living to their families. I am pretty sure that although now they are blinded by the apparent demagogue tricks of Heth, should they were able to decide themselves, they wouldn't pursue a war.
At least that is what i believe. |

Quote: By the emergency powers invested in me by the Senate, I am enacting laws to ensure that when the time is right, we are ready to strike back, against our enemies without and within, and that when we strike back, we strike back hard. We will leave no stone unturned, leave no opportunity untaken, leave no option unconsidered. The full force of the unbridled wrath of the Gallente Federation will be brought to bear on those who seek to harm us and our children, and when our avenging angel vists them they will know what it truly means to be mighty.
President Foiritan
Patience my brothers and sisters, justice will be served. Our president did the only sensible thing at the time, and saved many lives because of this.
