Is CVA now officially embarking on the genocide of the matari race?

So nothing has changed, other than that you now admit the obvious?

Any official opinion will be made by Lord Aralis or Lord Hardin I imagine if they feel the need. This is my position.

So the destruction of an entire Elder task force which had launched a suprise attack on the empire, and the retreat from the Imperial fleet by the Matar is a victory for them. How many millions of slaves were saved...and how many billions of slaves will die for their actions now. This isnt a war now, this is an extermination.
No matter how you lie, the truth of the Matari victory was reported by The Scope in real time. You say an entire Elder task force was destroyed. In fact, the Elder task force was made up of three elements, ONE of which was destroyed. The Defiants covered the withdrawal of the other two elements, which were carrying roughly ten million liberated brothers and sisters.
So, we destroy the entire 7th Fleet. We destroy countless Amarrian defense assets. We provoke the revelation of a previously unknown super weapon in the hands of the Amarr. We provoke the revelation of a heretofore thought dead Sarum. Both of those revelations are priceless intel. We sacrifice one mothership and two carriers, plus support, to halt the advance of a much larger Imperial force during the retreat. The bulk of the Starkmanir tribe has been returned to us. Our objectives were met, and more.
Please show me where the 7th fleet is reported being destroyed in its entirty. During preparations to leave for Aridia it was caught by suprise and pushed back, but the core still survives.
And are you not forgetting the reported titan over Sarum, followed by the destruction of the ENTIRE elder fleet in orbit...
And where exactly have I lied. The Elders launched an unprovoked attack on concord and the Empire, the Empire struck back destroying a fleet numbering in the thousands, then destroyed an entire terrorist cell with rightrous judgements in less than 5 minutes. The rest of the fleet would have been eradicated had not the entire Republic navy mobilised on the border and the Concord declaration been announced.
Yes the matari scored significant early gains, but all gains were lost within 6 hours, more slaves have ended up dead than freed and now the Empire can pursue a glorious war against the rebel territories and the Sarum heirs return has strengthened the empire. And The amarr are the losers again?

I've spent some time thinking about this. Difference between us, views on when and how to fight... this isn't the place for that.
Defiants, I salute you! History may judge things as it will, but no one, anywhere, will doubt the strength of your convictions.

Kudos to the slavers. Who else would have the gall to try and spin what was a well publicised, complete and utter spanking of them and their allies. Did anyone get footage of those Imperial ships crashing into each other while their comms were in dissary and their defence force went into full panic?
The Elders you thought you had killed have returned to us. The tribes have risen and march as one to the drums of war. Behold the dawn of a new Matari era. The day of liberation draws close.

Edited by: Zefiris on 12/06/2008 09:56:12 Edited by: Zefiris on 12/06/2008 09:55:00 Everyone with the smallest speck of intelligence knows that it takes time to rally forces. The fact that one of the invasion fleets was utterly destroyed at sarum prime after only a few hours and in doing so created a mass rout of the remaining fleet, shows that God was on our side this day.
A surprise assault of this magnitude has not been seen in centuries and was undoubtedly planned for years. The only thing you dogs needed was an excuse. Our chamberlain had even pledged assistance on the matter of the surviving Starkmanir, but did you graciously accept it? No... this was nothing but the excuse you had been waiting for all this time.
While innocent civilians all over the empire were brutally massacred, all i saw were cheering minmatar. I will never forget those images for the remainder of my life...
The Defiants were the first to fall.... others will follow, be sure of that. |
