Got a few questions, anyone shed some light?
1. Can the opposing factions PLAYERS attack me if im in said opposing factions high-sec space?
2. Do u still get a GLOBAL security status and a reduction in security status for attacking people from the other militias?
3. Is there any pvp actually involved, i have heard its all missions.
Thanks

What he said, and....
1. You can be attacked by opposing faction's pilots anywhere, and if you're the said opposing faction's high-sec space you will be attacked by that Empire's NPC Navy as well.
2. No
3. There are plenty of missions, yes, but they are missions that the opposition gets to crash, if I understand it right. The objective complexes in each system will definitely be a blend of PvE and PvP. |

ok in order
1) yes
2 no but be carefull of gangs that have a mix of fw and non fw members (immune healing anyone? shesh you would think the developers had never EVER played a PvP game before!)
3) dont bother with the missions frankly. get a gang, scan down the mission deadspace, then crash someone elses mission, you will have a PvP setup, they are going to need at least one person in a PvE setup, and by the time they get their you will have had plenty of time to clear the first room of any ships that are hostile to you and can usualy take down anyone who is actualy trying to run a mission before they can even flinch.
odds are good that you just made them eat the mission failure penalty on top of their shiplosses. ***** **** Trust Aura. Aura is Your Friend.

3. Maybe. The mission objective is several jumps away and shows up on the overview of everyone in the same system. Since that system will be low sec everyone can warp to your mission and enter it if he has an appropriate sized ship (AFAIK L1: <=destroyers, L2: <=cruisers, L3: <=BC,HAC, L4: <=BS).
Thus if there is a pirate out there looking for a kill he can simply enter the site and take advantage of the fact that the NPCs are already stressing your tank. This does of course apply to opposing militia too.

I don't believe this would apply in .5 space or over right? Since you would be attacked by the Faction Navy if you were even entering that system. From what I read, the Navy ships were getting a huge boost in damage that they can put out as well. So I don't see anyone flying into highsec space and hunting other folks down, seems like they would be busy escaping to me

3) you have agreed to fight the war dec for your side and as much you are a war target any where and anytime. If you go into high sec of your enemy then the navy ships will engage. This is alliance style war with out the alliance. ----------------------------------------------- Name Your can @ Name the can app |

So basically, being in militia turns the whole space into 0.0? I though EA was about semi-controlled PvP environment ;)

half of the mission that you are sent on is to make it to the site, alive, and then other to get back.
0.0 not its a war deck that you have the help or hindrance of the navy fleets.
There is an interview with the head designer on the "Warp Drive Active" podcast #39 that will explain all this. ----------------------------------------------- Name Your can @ Name the can app |
