Being new to Angel/Domination rats, I'd like to know how I should fit my Mega, since Angel and Domi rats do all damage kinds??

Easiest solution, come up with how their damagetypes are divided and match your resistances. Easiest route here is to set EFT to their damagetypes and then just achieve as high tank as possible.
Then again, ratting you don't really need much of a tank, just dps. |

When I rat in Angel space, I use 2x Explosive and 2x Kinetic Hardeners (or 2x Explosive and 1x Kinetic). |

K, so far to the resistance. But being new to the Mega what should I fit in the highs, mids and lows. Next to the resistance mods.

No info for the lil Lao? :( I used to fly cruisers until now. That's why I'm askin for help to fit the Mega. |

if you plan just to rat in belts, but can easily use a blaster setup, its higly suggested if you want to loot/salvage, else go with rails.
blaster setup:
low: 1xlar, 4x hardeners, 2x dmg mod
med: mwd, web, 2x CR II
high: 6x neutron blasters, 1x t.beam (or another blaster), 1x salvager
drones:
5x light ( to kill fast frig scramblers )
4x heavy
a word of warning : this is for BELT rats .. on other words where u will never find more that 3 bs's so you dont need to be cal stable since you will scred them apart in few volleys. If you will do exploration then avoid this setup. You should use the standard setup people use for L4 missions( plenty of setups around). The above setup is worth only if u plan to salvage .. if its not your intention to do so, then again use rails and warp to belts at 100km and snipe them all.

Angels have a low explosive resist. And deal mostly explosive damage
In fact when killing angels I tend to tank only their explosive damage - 2x EX hardeners and maybe an EANM or depending on the source of their damage another exp (If they are spewing cruise for example).
Not sure where the indication they do all damage types comes from, never had much other than explosive from them. |

Angel rats can do all kinds of damage - but when ratting most of it is in Exp/Kinetic. I would use a blaster/mwd setup against Angels - or a Dominix with Berserkers and blasters. |

Plenty of Angel Deadspace rats, do Thermal and EM damage as well.
My Mega fit is:
6 Neutrons + salvager + tractor
MWD/AB + WeB + 2x CRII
LAR, 4x Hardeners (exp,exp,kin,therm), DC II and Magstab II
assorted Minnie Drones to taste
Once you get through the shields, cuts through the rats like butter

5x zerkers II
Rigs ? My 3x armor rigs (cuz its formely a pvp ship) are killing me. Fit 3x CCC and get rid of the CPR II for a mag stab or resist

I forget if angels drop cap booster (800's) or not... If they do, I'd go
7x Blaster, 1x Salvager
MWD, Web, Cap injector, Cap recharger
LAR, 2x Explo, 1x Kin, 3x Mag Stab
5 Berzerkers
3x Whatever rigs you fancy, personally I'd fit a few CCC, maybe an aux nano if your tanking isnt up to par
or if you prefer to sit-and-rat
7x 425's, Drone Link Aug
2x Tracking computer, 2x Cap recharger
LAR, 2x Explo, 1x Kin, 3x Mag Stab
4 Bouncers, 5 Warriors
Sentry Drone Augmentors/CCCs/Optimal rigs/whatever you fancy

only problem with cap boosters,there isn't much room for cargo/loot, if you want to fit boosters, i would not even bother salvaging and fit the best gank you can.
As for Rigs, I use Aux Pumps and Nanobot Accelerators
If you want MWD, Semiconductor Cell inst a bad option
have fun, use eft and kill those damm rats |
