Xenea	Posted - 2008.06.13 00:16:00 - [1] It is most unfortunate that petty Holders and CONCORD regulations are preventing the will of Lord God from being executed by some of His most loyal servants. Indeed, very unfortunate but is as ordained by Lord God. I will not question His Wisdom. As always, the stated goals and actions of CVA are most noble. Lord God does not mandate us to only provide Enlightenment to the Matari, but to all peoples, everywhere. Lord God smiles upon the work being done in Providence and surely CVA will continue to be blessed for their work in lower Domain and expanding the Faith into null space. One thing that does concern me in this offical statement, however, is the suggestion that mortal traditions are somehow now "canonical" law. It is simply unacceptable to let these comments go uncontested. Certain newer traditions within the Empire can hardly be described as being Holy, as they are nowhere stated within the strict context of the Scriptures. Hence, they are not canon and not canonical. The Scriptures are Canon, the latest hairstyles on Sarum Prime are not. The reach of Lord God is long, and His Hand stretches well beyond the border of the Empire and into Providence. What He giveth, He can taketh away.
