When does corporation standings update based on members standings?
I have alt corp which I joined with my main char for the purpose of joining minmatar militia with the corp. My main char standing is good with minmatar but corporation standing has not changed since i joined. I tried doing 1 mision in hopes that that will make it update but it didnt.

In order for the faction standing to update you must run a storyline mission.

I dont remember the exact numbers but it will shift toward the member average at a reasonably slow rate at each DT(waiting on this to get some FW going myself). |

Depends on what their standing is actually. If it is 0 then all you need to do is get an update on yours from doing a storyline mission and it should set corp standing to the same as yours. If they have a negative or slightly positive standing then it will take a very long time. The increase each day does depend on the difference between current corp standing and what the average is.
Also the average is not the average of the entire cop, just the average of the people that contribute to that standing. |

Well, nothing helped, i tried misions, storyline mission, downtime, the corp standing is exactly the same as it was when i got this char in.
Any other suggestions?

having the same problem.. cannot get any standings whatsoever to apply to the corp..

If you look at your corporation's standings in the appropriate window, you will see the value change over time, that much we know. BUT, if you rightclick on the faction of choice and select Show Compositions, it will show the true value. For my corp, going towards Gallente Federation, those two values are different. It has not yet adjusted to the storyline increases I have gained, but when I look at compositions, the standing there is much higher. I believe that once you attain the value needed, in compositions, you should be able to join the militia. I don't think there is a need to wait for the standings to update in the normal standings-window, but I might be wrong. I will know this when I have a high enough standing myself or if someone corrects me here..

1) the cache in eve is horrible. look at corp standings from a character outside of corporation to confirm the actual standing
2) change is 1/4 of difference at downtime
3) change only starts after someone in corp runs a storyline mission such that their standing change changes and thus the corporation standing needs to be recalculated

For those who still wonderinng when corporation standing is updated:
Corporation standings are updated after storyline mission was completed at next downtime.
