During this time essential server upgrades will be deployed and tested on Tranquility. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will work hard to have everything up as soon as we can.

It was posted as soon as we decided to extend the downtime, but hopefully we can get back up real fast so you can train your skills.

And CCP have never reimbursed for skill time lost, as far as I know, even on 24+ hour downtimes (large patches etc.). Not really a problem, since you can generally assume that there's a slight chance of DT being slightly longer than stated. It's always safe to put a skill that finishes 1/2 hours after DT. And for the finale... please take your sig and apply to yourself.

Besides, i play almost daily around DT, and yes it is ALL THESE DTs really. Im really amazed they can run the company that well actually. its just a bit sad they dont accept the responsibility they have towards their customers, but they they can just like a n00b company, run it with all these mistakes and errors and poorly customer service. I believe that this low level they are running with will at some point prevent they from getting any bigger.

In what way? Discuss. Had you experienced the sense of community like it was back then, before all the forum whoring BS asshats that are around today. And when the devs were really, and i mean REALLY, involved with the community. Then youd know. There was a time when Oveur was answering newb question in the beginner channel, every other forum thread had a dev post in it you really felt like they cared for there community and the game.

It's a huge misconception that you are. You are paying to play CCP's game. A game they own, you must follow their rules and CCP can and will do what ever they think is good for the game.

There were ones where the server was unstable for several weeks, with unexpected shutdowns and extended DT all over the place. That was something to whine for, but I always knew that CCP was doing everything in their power to bring up the server ASAP and deal with the problem. They flew in technicians from all over the place as well. I lost several days of skill time then, and have done so of my own accord as well. It's rather inconvenient for this message to come so late, but I don't care that much, because I know it is done for the good of the game, and ultimately for all of us. So, pretty please, with sugar on top, stop your whining about it and calculate for one second the refund you get for one hour of lost skill time and bask in the knowledge that it is less than the cost incurred for that refund. Instead, concentrate on all the new things that you get with this extension free of charge. Some people
