Well lets suppose for a minute that the story of Hedge's Titan was to stay in BNC is true. Should not BNC be obligated to pay Hedge for the Titan? Or is that too moral for BoB types?

Well there is a very very good reason that they don't do this you see but we wouldn't believe it if they told us so they don't
Makes perfect sense

I find it impressive that among all the confusion and shady business, BoB members have united firmly against Hegemon Rast. The wellfare of the alliance is more important than the rights of individual - that I can understand.
It's kinda the same thing as getting all the Germans agree to extermination of the Jews in WW2 - somehow they were able to justify it to themselves - all for the wellfare of the state in troubled times.
I'm just curious - do any BoBs secretly admit to themselves that their alliance has betrayed one of their own, or do they truely believe that Hegemon was a traitor and deserved what he got. I'm not expecting an answer tho.

So really to sum it up:
Hege comes to forums to try gather public support: Check
Hege tells his side or supposed side: Check
BNC use x excuse to justify keeping Titan: Check
BNC do not shed any significant light on reasons why there keeping the Titan: Check
Rest of the Bob fanboys ect try to spin Titan keeping as ebay ect ect without proof: check
BOB and Fanboys get trolled and flamed by public: Check
Result: Bob condone theft of said Titan and clarify there position as regards corp theft and theft from players as been a ok game mechanic when it suits them.
possible future outcome: BOB corps suffering massive corp thefts ect and been laughed at by public.
Result: Epic fail by Bob and BNC.
I think Bob just hit a new low here, welcome to the corp thief club. Whats next?

How did I prove his point. I proved my point bu saying hege tried to do everything right and tried to follow the supposed original agreement of staying in the corp. Then he got ignored so he talked to molle. More ignoring and here we are. Try to keep up.

Hence why it isn't going to continue :)
Molle is caught red-handed lying about not being contacted by Hegemon. So anything Bob says about this will only make it worse. This BS story is just for damage control because there are a lot of Bob members who are worried by this corp theft and this already affects morale. If a 3 year member can get back stabbed like this it can happen to any Bob.
Don't worry. You'll be reminded about this for a long time. Titan corp thieving by Bob and CEO didn't do thing to prevent it.

Originally by: Avon The problem here is that Hege isn't giving you the full story, and if anyone in BNC told you the truth it would get spun as damage control. The truth is irrelevent, you are all just going to believe what you want.
If you could be bothered however, it isn't hard to find stuff on the internet which may make you look at the issue in a different light.
Hegemon, I'm dissapointed. I really liked you.
Oh but the problem is that we heard some of your of the story already in fact and got some important peice of info. In post No. 215 the guy named Cosmo Raata he unintentionally testified that Jake Noble was respecting Hege's property rights until some moment in time and that the fact of Hegemon's owning titan was recognized:
Originally by: Cosmo Raata Edited by: Cosmo Raata on 14/06/2008 16:48:18 Edited by: Cosmo Raata on 14/06/2008 16:41:37
During the time that Hegemon was inactive/thinking of quitting/not playing, I was in talks with Jake Noble often. Each week there was word of Hegemon selling his Titan to Jake for under 30 bil, then it was 25, then 20, then he was just going to give it to Jake. It went on and on. From this 3rd person perspective, I could percieve that Hegemon had no idea what he wanted. BNC only wanted the Titan in use, which was very far from happening with Hedgemon piloting it.
So the guy had no idea what to do with the Titan? reason to kick him out of the corp without compensating it? BNC wanted the titan in use? BNC had the titan in use, it seems only that they wanted it anyway.
Everything else you have to say more is going to be only the attempt to validate confiscation without compensation (read theft).

I suppose that debatable depending on your perspective, just seemed a bit odd that the other big3 each have 3 or 4 each and bnc had to use some questionable tactics to acquire their first. Congrats are in order I suppose.

And isk coming in there are plenty of merc corps out there that u could hire to harass bob pets or even harass bob directly in high sec. U probably know their industrial elements u could go on a rampage against those that ripped u off

look guys i may be fairly new to this game and may not have known hege very long but a few things dont sound very well put together in the entire bob defence on this. First of all if bob wants to continue to portray a Brotherhood between members of the Alliance (which puts a damper on the whole *ITS A CORP ISSUE that we hear so much about) then some sort of retaliation should come for the act of piracy. as said on one of the other posts i believe though if they dont care about keeping an honorable persona in eve then stop trying just let everyone know what kind of dirty backstabbing pompus jerks and b*****ds you are. And if it is a corp issue if the corp is in bob it not only reflects on the corps leadership and abilities but shows that then entire alliance is led by spineless jerks who just dont want to deal with it and would rather spend their time on damage control on these threads to keep people from revealing what kind of actual a**es they really are.
hege i really am sorry for your loss and i would rather like to see you in game just to hang and fly together if only for a little while pm me some time.

if anything this will be a permanent dampener on trust within the alliance. Any personally owned supercap won't be getting lent, and i highly doubt anyone who hasn't already lent it will be lending their t2 bpo's to the corp.
trust is a hard thing to earn.
BNC just threw theirs out the door.

Funny thing is the gagging order of getting booted when Bobbits post here only makes it worse.
With all the spies and inter-alliance friendships covers ups don't work no more.

The excuse being given by BNC within BOB is that Hege quit and said he was ebaying his isk, but gave the Titan to the corp because he couldn't ebay it. Of course, he isn't there to defend himself and no chatlogs have been provided to prove this, nor is there any record of BNC's management reporting this allegation to CCP.
Of course Jake not being able to get a Titan built before the BBQ and deciding to keep this one is just a coincidence.

Meh, I doubt there will be any negative effects for BNC internally.
Typically members of a corp want to believe their CEO and the directors are the greatest people alive. So they will swallow most any excuse that is made up for doing things like theft.
Whenever people realy want to believe something, they do. In such a case facts do not matter too much.

Bruce members believed in their former founder and executor....right up until he pulled his corp, assets and non corp FC's out of the alliance. If I recall Fried also imposed a ban posting in this forum prior to leaving.
In short when open discussion is banned, something needs be hidden.

Tbh the attempted justifications in this thread are just they would've been much better just to say "so what, we never claimed to be the good guys, epic theft ITT" and left it at that.

There had been a COAD posting ban in BRUCE for a very long time, on and off long before we arrived in fountain.
Anyway, this so has nothing to do with BRUCE, so back on topic. Sucks that a ship like this gets "stolen". Unless we hear the full side from both sides, its never going to get resolved and COAD flames will just continue :)

There is no wai he would do that, he would've ebayed it along with all of that other BNC stuff that didn't belong to him. He pretty much sounded like the devil.
If he did delete the char it is just wrong, I heard that char really belonged to BNC anywai

He had many serious offers to join an effort to fight the BoB evil. He could have made a real difference. He could have used this turn of events to ignite his passion for the game - for revenge.
But he didn't, because he couldn't survive the big gaping wound in his soul, left by the betrayal of people he trusted most.
Some may argue he was weak, but if you never really trust anyone, you don't know how much it can hurt to be betrayed. It wasn't just Coranor, the whole alliance turned their back on him. It was the ultimate betrayal in EVE.
BoB is the evil empire. BoB must be destroyed.
