With all of the exciting news and posts regarding Faction Warfare, I think it's only fitting that it deserve it's own Dedicated Forum instead of cluttering up EVE General Discussion or CAOD.

The thing is that CCP want the average player to get involved with FW and hiding the posts away on another forum is counterproductive to that goal. It does deserve its own forum section but equally it deserves to have the general spotlight for a while. It's the first major gameplay addition in years that has seriously contributed to EVE's general ethos and gotten a ton of players (young and old) into PvP in a big way.

the bolded is a really good idea, private forums, and your character has to be part of the militia or part of a corp in the militia to get in, and lets say a caldari tried to get in, it would pop up some roleplaying message like "The contents of this file are not for the eyes of the general public" or something like that

This is a valid point but already most militants are searching the forums for FW news only. So might aswell make it simple. A simple sticky in general forum letting know such forum exists is enough imo. |
